Thank you for this message. I needed this! I'm a new Christian. I was mormon for 38 years. I've only been out one year. Everything he said is true, you're pressured to stay and the cost of leaving is high enough to bring you to your knees...but that is where the Savior comes to gather you up into light and a love I never knew was possible. I pray for all my mormon family members and friends and I hope you will too. I pray one day they'll listen to me or to another faithful Christian. Many have no idea they are lost and those who do know are terrified of the high cost of leaving.

Church of Christ is one of those deceptive cults. The members are all very nice. They “love bomb” their targets. They use the same bible. But they believe salvation can only be through baptism at their church. When I was seeking the Lord and had very little discernment I almost got sucked into that cult. I didn’t know my bible very well back then. A friend who knew they were a cult pointed me in the right direction and explained to me why they were a cult and I got out of there real quick! I’m grateful for that friend and for Jesus calling me out of there before I got in too deep. That experience really taught me a valuable lesson in discernment and prompted me to really study my bible and seek truth. Truth is being distorted like never before. So many people are being easily deceived and manipulated on so many levels from vaccines, politics, to religion. Stay in the Word and test every spirit!!

I've had my horror stories of the past: new Christian that joined a church that split. Many years later re-dedicated my life to Jesus to a wonderful church that was so spiritual and just a joy to volunteer and be a part. A prominent family (supposedly he was part of the "music industry ") joined our church and our pastor was enamored. Our beautiful spiritual music changed, our studies changed and the greatest people of God left. Our pastor became all about money and forgot his first True Love. Many of us joined another church and our pastor there had to leave because his wife was a nurse and because of Obama care, had to leave this hospital and move to another state. A pastor moved in and was all about growing the church and I quit and moved to another state. I've joined a semi-mega church that is trying to move the community. If it wasn't for you Pastor Jack and a few of the Calvary Chapel churches along with others, I would be so lost. Thank you for your heart felt messages that hit me to the core. And your political views that are so true. Keep on keeping on in Jesus Name. God Bless you, your family and your church. The darkness WILL not prevail. I am a testimony to that!

I was 4th gen born and raised in R LDS. We were the true church 😅and followed joe smith not Brigham Young who after Joes assassination led the ppl to Utah and continued to create Mormonism! Anyway I was 40 when I finally found truth but by then my 3 children had been raised in it and my husband having no truth background joined the church as well! It has been so difficult for me. If you know a person that is in these cults please try and share with them! There were Christians in the family I married into but no one ever tried!! 😞

Another Ahhhmazing sermon Pastor Jack!!!!! I’ve been warning family & friends of false teachers & false prophets for years. I always encourage them to truly seek scripture for themselves but often people are too lazy to research and pray for the Holy Spirit to reveal to them truth & discernment. Instead the masses want to hear what their itching ears want to hear instead of the hard truth. Because of this my family & I are in between churches...so much false teachings and doctrines & letting too much culturally relevant things into our big church and It’s like swimming up stream because my husband & I are always the ones saying “how does this line up with scripture”. And basically we’ve found we are not people that go with the masses...we take the narrow path but it’s not always easy. Sometimes I wish I could just bury my head in the sand but that’s not who God has called me to be. I don’t think Christians should partner with the world & I don’t want the influence of darkness around me...when anything goes at church like when people say “yoga is okay” or they do a bible study with a false believers book that the book is off doctrinally I just can’t accept that. We are called to be in the world but not of the world! Thank you so much Pastor Jack for this message, it blesses my heart to know I’m not alone and you are so right Jesus had 12 disciples.. when the church grows so rapidly it doesn’t necessarily mean that spiritual growth is happening too. I pray people will be aware of Bethels false teachings too....so much based on “feelings” & their own interpretation and no sound scripture to back it up. Our large church sings tons of bethel songs and I just struggled with the empty repetitive words that lack sound doctrine. The Holy Spirit doesn’t need a show. The Holy Spirit is alive in us when we truly accept Christ as Lord and Savior! The best worship I’ve ever had is when I’m praying in my car and singing to the Lord or when I’m reading in Bible & praying!!!!!! I don’t want fabricated Christianity. I never liked when our church uses “The Message” & now many are using “The Passion” version of the Bible....huhhh?! Totally not what my Bible says! False teachers and false prophets everywhere and church leaders are not discerning what to allow in. Also...many Christian get sucked into the enneagram gift test...the first time I heard a staff person talking about how she’s a 2 & 7 something seemed off in my Spirit come to find out I looked it up and the symbol of that test looks like the pentagram😳 whatttt????? So after further research people in the church are trusting a gift test based on a satanic program. Lord Jesus where is the discernment? I’ve been wanting to do a video sharing about these things but I know I’ll have haters, I love that you said you may lose some people at church (you won’t). But it’s a reminder that God keeps laying it on my heart to share what I know to warn sisters in Christ and whoever the Lord wants to speak to through that so be it. I’m just to be obedient and do what the Holy Spirit is calling me to do. At end of day...please brothers and sisters in Christ look everything up in scripture! Ask “How does this line up with God’s word”. The Lord will make it very clear through his word and through seeking him!!!! God bless you all and this ministry. It’s been hard because we love serving at our church and have been wondering if we should stay to be the ones that call things out as needed but it just gets tiring when the flock just goes with whatever the newest fad is. Our kids are missing their classes but there has been things with that. We homeschool and my kids & I have discussions about church, The Bible & what the Lord desires for his people all the time. It’s been so neat to see our teens and even littles see things at church or in life and say “this looks off” etc. and we go to scripture. I pray you find a church home to fellowship with soon🙏🏻. We have visited some other places of worship and know that no church is perfect but the one church we visited we came to found out Pastor & his wife split up. We know that at our home church the Pastor does preach the gospel & loves his wife and family. So I’m praying for us to have clarity of where we are to land and if it’s at the same church I pray that hearts would be softened to hear discernment & wisdom from the Lord. With large churches I think it’s a slippery slope because it is such a big congregation & obviously we can’t micromanage but the concerns I have stem from lack of discernment as to where the church is heading more progressive. But that maybe me noticing it since I have served as a leader/coach & teacher for marriage ministry etc. thanks for chatting a minute. Good to know I’m not alone in this. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻. Paulo Rostok I’ve read up on the scrolls and I don’t believe that is true. I to own a 1611 KJV and a True Word Bible that gives the Hebrew and Greek words along with a Strongs Bible. So, I disagree with you on the 90% portion. I would also say that just because someone has a big church doesn’t mean that pastor grew his numbers in the same way as the prosperity pastors due. Additionally, I would add what Gods word has to say about bad mouthing people; 1 Thessalonians 5:11-13 King James Version (KJV) 11 Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do. 12 And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you; 13 And to esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake. And be at peace among yourselves. Pastor Jack was not called to be perfect. But I believe he is doing a great job leading those to the lord. Have a good day, Brother :)

How funny. I have experienced those knocks on my door. It was Jehovah witnesses. The last time they came, I actually stepped outside instead of taking their pamphlets, and kindly saying thank you before they left, and I started talking truth. I actually was going through some stuff and I asked them to pray with me. Right then. Do you know they would not. When I began talking about what I wanted to say, one wanted to argue it but not very hard. The other guy was completely pushed away. They have not been back. Lol. Praise God.

I had a JW tell me he was going to hell while trying to give me his pamphlet. I asked him why he was going to hell. He replied, "bcuz I am not an elite. I'm not worthy of heaven, and that's ok, bcuz I know that's not my calling." I was blown away. When I shared scripture and brought out my bible in the driveway to him...he cut it short and had to go. He is no doubt lost. Hungry for truth & unity.

Great message! And absolutely true. I lived in a neighbourhood with several jehova witnesses living there and about 100 meters from their kingdom hall. One day 2 jw's knocked on my door. It was the start of doing the studies with them. Before they came I was very lukewarm. But satan's plan dit not work out he wanted to. Because I always check what the bible says. And these studies actually made me have to read the bible, something I barely did before that time. I still have contact with them. I am not doing the studies anymore. Usually they ditch you but I have good contact still. I evangelize to them and hope a seed will fall good ground and will start to grow. And if they one day wake up and leave the organisation (that is my prayer) I want to be there when they lose all their friends and family. Many people in the jw organisation are lonely and exhausted. Also many doubt their own believes or even do not believe this anymore. But they stay in, in fear of losing their friends and family. And on hindsight I say: from the very first beginning do not let them lead the study. Evangelize them. Keep your ears and eyes on Jesus.

And for anyone that took all I said as elevating myself as if I've apprehended it. My answer is NO. I just think for myself and I measure everything I hear to the bible. We have to be careful NOT to speak only from human experience because we can't wrap our minds around the mind of God. His ways are higher than ours and His thoughts are higher than our own. His Torah, which means to hit the mark, His instruction gives us the greatest core of His values and helps us to see things more clearer. That should be our plumb line.

Even the demons believe , to believe is not enough but o believe in your heart and understand that you have sinned and need Christ shed blood to cover your sins and turn from your sin and proclaim the gospel. Giving your life to Jesus isn't as easy as Jack makes it seem and be prepared to be hated the lost it is a hard road but it is the only way

Mustard bushes reach an average mature height of between 6 and 20 feet with a 20-foot spread, although exceptional plants can reach 30 feet tall under ideal conditions. They have a spreading, multistemmed growth habit with a drooping or weeping branch structure. The leaves are oval, yellowish-green and have a fleshy, succulent feel.
