Pastor Jack, I love hearing you preach the TRUTH.I pray you will be allowed to continue to give us the absolute word of God. I struggle to tell people who INSIST they LOVE jesus and talk to him all the time that they are not going to heaven if they don't also LIVE in christ and follow the gospel. People don't think being baptized is important, they think homosexuality is ok, they get drunk, drug and continually speak with vulgarity, but because they believe there is a God and believe in jesus that they too can go to heaven. I don't know what I should do, even though I simply tell them the gospel is God's word and the only way home. I'll continue to live by example and preach it. God give me strength and knowledge to do your work. Amen

Lyla's Way !! Yes I struggled with this for years until I dove deep into the word about what we are to do. The Bible makes it clear that we are to reprove, rebuke, and exhort, and to not even eat with those who bear the name of a brother but participate in open sin, for we are not to judge those outside the church, but we are to judge those INSIDE. This is not popular in today’s society though. You will be hated, rejected, mocked, spoken ill of, and despised. But take heart, you are in good company. For so they spoke about the prophets of old and even Jesus himself because like in John 7:7 Jesus testified to the world that’s its deeds were evil. Pray that God grants you freedom from the fear of man and gives you an increase of the fear of God in your life. You’ll need it. God bless.

Dave, you should. I highly recommend Billy Crone's study on cults, occult, etc. He has a KZbin channel. Listen to what he says about Assemblies of God churches...I believe it is lesson number 32. We just left a church (after 10 years) and realize it was actually a cult. The "pastor" was a covert narcissist and he taught for 42 years (his teaching began in the Assemblies of God and was with them for decades). He just ditched the church here in Hawaii and is now off to Texas. We cut him and his wife off 5 months ago (when we left). So thankful the holy Spirit caused such discomfort in us as what the "pastor" was teaching contradicted MANY of what he taught MANY times. 3 church splits too. I pray the word of God gives you peace, you are strengthened by His word and your ears hear 😊

I don’t have a home church anymore. The wonderful church I attended for 15 years basically imploded. The pastors wife passed away suddenly, she was a wonderful woman of God and a huge part of the women’s ministry that I also attended. She got sick and 2 weeks later the Lord took her home. It was a hard time. What made it even harder for me is that the pastor of our church remarried another member of our church 4 months after his wivespassing. He is a good man and I cannot judge his decision to remarry because that is between him and the Lord. I wish them the best on their marriage. This remarriage of the pastor causes a lot of division in the congregation and my husband and I decided this wasn’t a good place for us any longer. This was 5 years ago. We have tried numerous churches, small ones, mega ones etc. and we cannot find a local church that teaches chapter by chapter, verse by verse. All we can find is the “Tony Robbins” motivation speeches type of churches. It makes my skin crawl. I am fed by Pastor Hibbs but I need a church home. I miss worship and fellowship and spending time with others who know and love the Lord. When Pastor Jack talks about how we need a church and need to dive in and grow, I I feel sad for the church we lost. I need to keep trying and pray for guidance and discernment. We are going to try a Calvary Church 20 miles from where we live. If any of you have read this entire novel of my comment, please pray the Lord would guide to a new church home. Thank you xoxo

Understanding Enlightened To my knowledge this is the 3rd time Hinn has said that. Is he living any differently? Proving he’s changed by any of his actions? Scaling down his multimillionaire life style? I think not. I use to watch him. I’m now 73. Attended his conference in Phoenix, AZ about 6 years ago. I was up front praying to be healed. He would not allow me to go on stage because I have Cervical Dystonia that twists my neck to right. Can not fake it. He just points and his goons obey. They physically held me at bottom of steps and pulled me over into corner. I was yelling but no one cared. I saw people walking around before everyone got there that were in wheelchairs when meeting started. I saw many really obvious sick or crippled people who were not allowed on stage. Many crying out to him to heal them. He has tons of men roaming the audience. Yanking people around, pushing them aside. They don’t show that part on TV. It was a traumatic experience that I will never forget. He treated people with no respect or caring. Fake in every way. His main followers are older people and he needs to appeal to younger ones. Older ones dying off. I would like to believe he’s now really saved but only God knows.

I recognized Rob Bell’s deceptions many years ago when he was early into his emergent “churchianity”. Our very vibrant large church was showing some sort of innocuous videos of his, and my husband and I approached the pastor with my concerns. We were, at the time, small group leaders and small group leader coaches. The pastor (who I really love very much) basically said that the church needed to be relevant, and we were taken out of our leadership positions. The Bible says “The Lord added to the church daily” Acts 2:47...not “the church made the Bible palatable so they could add members”.

Rob Bell no longer pastors Mars Hill church. And this is what he is quoted saying: Bell stepped down from the church he founded on September 22, 2011 in order to pursue other areas to reach a broader audience. He later said that his book Love Wins had led to a fallout with the congregation and forced him on a "search for a more forgiving faith."

Rob Bell is being used by the Lord to bring people to Jesus. Yes, he has some inaccurate theology, but those who come in through him may well continue on to become more theologically correct. I am one of those people. I came to Jesus out of the New Age. I needed someone like Rob Bell to point me towards Jesus. He is a loving and kind person. He loves Jesus. He loves people. Without using him as a stepping stone, I don't think I would be in Christ today. I left his teachings behind a long time ago now, and I now have a broader and more accurate understanding of scripture. Those who really embrace the Word, will move on. I am forever greatful to Rob Bell for being so loving and giving me an introduction to Jesus. I would never have come straight out of the New Age and into the church I now attend. It was, and is a journey. Yes............ it is dangerous for those who get stuck worshiping Rob Bell, but for the ones like me, who need to be brought in slowly, the good Lord uses people like Rob Bell, even with all his inaccurate scripture. Those in the book of life will carry on and leave him in the dust. Please pray for him, he is a good man with delusions.

My oh my, than you for addressing Rob Bell. I live in the Grand Rapids Mi area. My daughter went to Mars Hill church and spoke highly of that church. Her and her husband even wanted to be married by Rob Bell! So, we attended a few services to check it out . Right away I noticed the lack of scripture in his services and his speaking style was , never making a point , and saying things that are very un-biblical! My daughter was upset with me for saying he is not a good pastor and I thank God that she got a job where her co-worker is Pastor's Wife. Her pastor's wife coworker had her husband marry them in a very conservative Christian Reformed Church. Way better than Rob Bell I must admit! I did read the book," Love Wins ". It's becoming critical to call out the false teachers by name .... to protect the flock, defend the faith and rescue the perishing ... I heartily commend Pastor Jack for his stance...The apostasy and blatant heresy is growing exponentially.... For example, there's a seminary in New York that recently had their students sit among potted plants then had the students ask the plants for forgiveness for their sins against nature ... The Church of England has initiated a new service for people who have "changed" gender... Another church in Ohio celebrated their female "pastors" name change from Rose to Peter... I live in the Seattle area and I’m having such a hard time finding a Truth only church !!!! Iv talked to many Pastors before attending their service . The first question I ask is do you take your family to Disney Land ? I have not yet found a pastor yet to say no . Why do I ask because Disney Land supports the LGBQT . Disney gave Mickey Mouse rainbow ears in support of the LGBQT!!! If the Shepard of a church can’t deny himself from a organization that leads children to sin ( beliefs) how can I trust that Shepard to lead me not astray in the last days !!!! Deann Coppess I get most of my teaching from the Bible and I watch a few on line teachings . I don’t trust most pastors these days , when I question them on the first question and they call me judgmental ( Disney) question I leave their church in grief. My friends tell me I will not find a perfect church so they tell me to stop asking The Disney question. On homosexuality: Luke 6:6-9 Hebrews 4:12-13 Ezekiel 6:11-12 1st John 2:15-17 2nd John 1:7-11 Jude 1:3-4 (Yes, I know, there is only one chapter in 2nd John and Jude!) 1st Corinthians 6:9-20 Revelations 3:14-22 Titus 1:10-16 Hebrews 10:32-38 2nd Peter 1:12-21 2nd Peter 2:1-10 2nd Peter 2:18-22 These all address homosexuality as sin that God finds disgusting. God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. There is NO reason to believe God has become more "flexible" in modern times. I have risen in church to denounce just this sort of teaching and I will never step foot in that church again. Nor will God. People, if any sermon does not support their teaching with scripture, run away. You are being deceived. Nothing could be more disastrous in these times than deceiving "pastors" such as Rob Bell. There are many out there. They will be judged and I would not want to even be in the same room when they are. Eternity is too long to be wrong.

White Stone I use current scientific discovery to prove God's existence and then how many copies there are of the Bible in existence. There are other non-biblical ancient manuscripts with very few copies that we take as truth, why not the Bible? Then comes fulfilled prophesy. But so many won't accept factual evidence, they don't want there to be God because they are then accountable for their actions. That is what most who reject the evidence want: They want to BE God, not be accountable to God.

It literally means that no man that is in “military service” to God entangles himself with the business affairs of this world! Literally meaning politics! Look it up in the Strongs.
