Nicely explained! But please make one for those who have hooded eyes AND their eyebrows are really close to their eyes. I have that and I think if I get the eyeshadow over my hooded eyes then it will be too close to my eyebrows and they will look even closer to my eyes.

Yessss! I have similar eyes too. I think people really seem to miss this specific type of hooded eyes. My eyes are hooded, deep-set, AND there isn't much space between the eyebrows and the eyes 😂 I usually need a miracle to make eye-makeup look right.

Wear a high ponytail to make the eyebrows lift away from the eyes for a quick fix

@@MarieC806 I wear hijab and I have doe eyes. Doing a tight ponytail will also pull the skin around my eyes making them lose that doe eye shape.

@@amylouise3044 Ikr! I don't even do eyeshadow. I just do a thin line of eyeliner really close to my lashline (which pretty much just give it a 'dense lashes' look), some highlighter on the inner corners and mascara. That's all. I just go bolder on lips if the event requires it.

I've started getting into makeup more as I've noticed signs of ageing. My skin looking dull etc. Infact!☝️. Off topic, but I dermaplanned my face last night for the 1st time. I'm 56 and I just discovered a KZbinr called "the hooded eye"! Watch her page, she gives amazing tips because she has true hooded eyes, and is older.👍 This girl here is a kid! She can't speak to the natural eye hooding that happens with age.

@AnnikaLaurenCassidy56 Yeah, no harm to the girl but you're right 💓 My eyes are my problem area. I say my right eye is more hooded than the left one. I think that's because of an injury I gave myself at 18. I see more dark puffiness under the right eye, too. I really appreciate you sharing that link & I will definitely have a look 🥰

You might also need to stamp more than brush back and forth to blend. I actually take a blush brush with a little of my bronzer shade on it and tap over everything with that. My eyelid skin is so movable that if I try to swipe back and forth at all I end up with patches. ❤

Use a highlighter powder lightly on your lower lid inner cover to midlid. Opens them up.

love this, although i woudnt put the shimmer above my cease because it gets cloudy looking its cute but not neat. but for the darker colors you were spot on!

side note you dont have to do exactly how i said it you can do the same in the vid just to add more depth and making it complete by adding a darker color above the shimmer to create a crease it would have to be thin so when you blend out it doesnt go all over the place lol

I never see anyone with deep hooded eyes make these tutorials. The type where the hood meets the end of the eyelid or just before making it so much harder to do winged liner or fancy eyeshadow.
