These workshops occurred in Nassau, Bahamas and are part of Project BrOKen. Project BrOKen was created by María Daniel of iDance Ministry. It uses dance and visual art to depict the raw realities of those impacted by mental health, disabilities and addiction while also depicting hope, healing and recovery.
We thank Dr. Ann Higgins, President of the World Congress of Dance (Nassau, Bahamas section) for being such a gracious host as we worked with youth at the Urban Centers in Nassau.
Project BrOKen collectively had 3 parts which include:
1) an Expressive Dance Art Exhibit;
2) a Live Dance Performance and Resource Fair
3) Workshops.
