24 hours isn't bad compared to many of the transfers that happen. It's a lengthy process to get exotic animals across the world safely.

Sylvester, we are seeing this much later. I hope that things have went well and hopefully your a father by now or about to be. I hated that mom and son had to be separated but hopefully now both are able to live in a chimpanzee society being chimpanzees and living the best life they can in captivity. Good news is that as far as i am aware of Monkey World is top notch in providing and caring for all the primates in there care.

I started watching this show about a month or so ago and I have unfortunately made it to Season 16 a little too quickly🥴. I couldn’t help it though because I have become quite fond of every individual there. I also noticed I have picked up a saying that I never used before I kept hearing it repeated throughout each episode and that is “come on then”🤭. I don’t think it’s something that anyone from small town Louisiana says very often or at least not that I am aware of. I’m SO glad I found the playlist for each season so that I could catch up on all the primates. Whoever took the time to do all of that on KZbin, you are a MVP! Thank you all💞

@@Kim-lc3fv From what I have read season 16 is the last one and is being shown on tv in the UK. Think it's also available on NOW TV. A membership wouldn't do any good considering season 16 is the last and I have not seen anything about a season 17. There are no real time episodes.

I just read that the zoo he's going to killed a baby orangutan because her mother died and they didn't think she would have any quality of life. I hope she wasn't Sylvester's baby. I find it highly disgusting that they would do that. Shameful.

I posted about that on the last video. It is hard to confirm with the little amount I can find on the internet but the father of Revital's first baby was Vendel. I think there are a few different groups at the Basel zoo. Everything I can find on the situation sounds like they just didn't think she could have a quality life. We have watched Monkey World hand raise more than one baby so I find it very sad that they didn't even try. What is the point of having a creche?

When I first read this comment I was thinking that surely can’t be true because it’s so hard to imagine that even being considered. I think there could have been a lot better options other than that! I wonder if they even considered asking Monkey World if they could take on the infant because they seem to have great adult females that would be glad to foster a little one. How unfortunate!
