Top wax. 10 out of 10. For ease of use and coverage, only need a very small amount. Bought the small tub. To try. And I have polished my Volvo fh tractor unit and my Audi A6 avant both fairly large vehicles, only used less than half a tub so economical.

Really useful video, thanks for the information. I was wondering do you have a ceramic coating on the car or can you use this ceramic wax on an uncoated car?
@DetailingandtheBeast Жыл бұрын
No coating, this is a standalone wax with ceramic elements in the wax.

Hi, I’ve bought a couple of EZ products and have been impressed. I’m thinking of getting this or the new gloss boss wax as an alternative to BH Double speed. Is it worth the punt will it offer me anything better than the double speed? Also is the Ez citrus pre wash any good as I need a new pre wash and I was disappointed with the angelwax citrus wash. Cheers

BH DS is a superb product for the money. It beads like crazy and it lasts! Saying that I'm more than happy with the EZ ceramic and would recommend it to anyone! Personally with the new GB wax, I'd steer clear just because it is so new, very little feedback exists. As for citrus washes, I can tell you that I've had both AD and EZ at the same time and was unable to tell any differences between them, they both dilute exactly the same, they smell and look identical, and they're roughly the same price. I'd say that neither blew me away but they work, and they are good value if you get them when on deal. I would never pay full price for any of the AD or EZ stuff, when their sales discount is so high.
@challinor024 жыл бұрын
Detailing and the Beast - DaveCHCI cheers do much for taking the time to reply. In terms of the ceramic wax I wanted something to give me a glass like finish which BH DS doesn’t. I know though that I don’t have a hard bmw style clear coat so my car won’t ever get that type of finish. BH DS Wax is still beading after 8 weeks. In terms of citrus wash I have 5L of surfer hd would you say that’s a better cleaner than AD and EZ Citrus wash ( £24.50 on offer 5L with 30% off deal)

Good video Dave, can you advise on the longevity of this product please? Thanks
@DetailingandtheBeast5 жыл бұрын
EZ claim 8 to 12 months. I saw about 4 before I removed it to do my winter prep video. Was still going strong at that point.
@challinor024 жыл бұрын
Alrate Dave. I wanted to ask as I know you’ve used both products. I’ve got GT Zero and I need to strip my BH Double Speed wax which is about 8-10 weeks old so I can machine polish. Do I still need to buy ez reset or will GT Zero through foam lance and then bucket suffice.
@DetailingandtheBeast4 жыл бұрын
I like reset, but you dont need it if you have zero. Zero via a lance left to sit then bucket will see off that wax. Might need a second go, but it will clear it. You dont actually have to remove it all if you are machine polishing, but it would be better to get as much off as possible.
@challinor024 жыл бұрын
Detailing and the Beast - DaveCHCI yes mate I have zero so maybe 2 rounds of foam and wash sound right as the bilt hamber DS seems to last forever. Plus I’ve Got the ez ceramic wax to put on the RAV4. I noticed you used micro cut to polish your wild track. I’ve got fine cut M6 which I was going to polish with for my scratches off bushes etc and menzerna 3800 for finishing. Is p3 more suitable for a newer car( with Japanese paint)

Ez wheel cleaner Nagina limited edition on sale from £48 to £12.50 for 5L. What do you know about their wheel cleaners? Are they any good and worth punt. Assume it’s just viper in a different colour
@DetailingandtheBeast4 жыл бұрын
When I started reading this I already knew my reply. It IS just Viper. I'm sure it was even admitted by Darren himself on the page when it first came out. Now, Viper is actually half decent, its strong, and as such can be diluted as a maintenance wheel cleaner to stretch its usage. 5L for 12quid is a decent offer.
