Can you take the passenger hub and put it on the drive side. I think the drivers side is the drive axle side correct?

Hiya. To tell you the truth, I'm not certain of that. The LH hub is splined, but I'm not sure if the RH is. Both hubs have brake shoes so the hub must be tight to the axle but I don't recall how it is attached off the top of my head. It's been a while since I pulled one of those off. You might just have to pull the RH side and see for sure. I'd appreciate it if you would comment and let us know what you find out. I'm sure there are others who will want to know the answer as well. thanks. Good luck.

@@teammudshark6894I think the passenger side is splined too. When I had the driver side hub off. I lifted both rear wheels off the ground and I pressed the gas pedal while holding the driver side axle still with vise grips and the passenger wheel started turning.

@@Pcola70Chevelle Well I can't say for sure but this cart is an early 2000's model. No positraction. The same thing happens when you jack up a car on one side without posi. The other side spins. I don't recall exactly the attachment of the right side but in my case, only the left side has a splined axle. Replacing the spun hub, and sometimes the axle too always returns the cart to service. Never had a right side issue. Thanks for the comment.

Due to model changes, you should reference the illustrated parts catalog for your exact cart. If you don't have access to one of those contact a dealer's parts department and they will be able to give that to you. If you don't want to buy one from the dealer, you can use the part# to search the internet or locally for a better deal or for a used/serviceable one. There are a lot of used cart shops out there. If you do go with a used one, you need to make sure your splined hub is good as well. If both the axle and the hub are worn a bit you might get the same slippage. The best thing is to use a new hub and new axle. That would the best case, as you move down to used parts you just need to make sure which part is worn beyond limits if changing 1 part doesn't cure it. Thanks.
