Thank you!! Seeing this is so much easier than just reading the pattern.

Okay! I found the pattern for this on joann.com under loop yarn projects. About me: I am a novice who does not work with yarn. That being said; I could not easily read the pattern, and was really struggling with the instructions. Having this video to "see" exactly what the instructions were saying made all the difference!! I made this blanket "slightly" larger than the actual instructions as my husband is taller and this was his new couch blanket. I did this by simply making it wider and adding extra rows of the the patterns in each section. THANK YOU so much for sharing the breakdown for the various different stitches.

My issue, what is done with the skipped stitch in row 18... is it picked up in the next row?
@djflook94653 жыл бұрын
@@JoniB4 just follow what it says and it works Be careful to keep the cross over stitches going the correct way. Alternating direction each row to get more of a weave pattern .

In the criss cross stitch. What do you have to do with the unworked stitches? Pick them up in the next row?

I have the same question as @MsMien7 - how do you handle the unworked stitches in the criss-cross section? The pattern does not indicate what to do with the unworked stitches, and it is not addressed in the video. I will try a plain knit stitch and see what happens.

I have a question about Row 5: 5th row: Working from right to left with working yarn in back, work 6 'twisted knit' sts (as described in 3rd row) to last 6 sts. Work 6 'twisted knit' sts. Is the entire row 'twisted knit' stitches?

I believe the other stitches are regular knit stitch. Just pull working yarn from back to front.
