Great review.. I've been shooting one for just under a year now on my Triax and it is an amazing sight. Once you get used to the framing you will pop off kill shots really fast. I was sceptical at first, but I was quickly corrected once I started shooting it. It's based off of old military ranging technology. Anyone bashing on this sight has never shot one.

The customer service they provide is extremely good. There is a Facebook group for the ezv sight too if anyone needs any extra information. My personal opinion is this sight isn't for everyone and you kinda need a open mind and need to be willing to try something new. I took my 250 dollar viper sights off for this sight and I cant imagine taking it off.

It’s marketing. The company asked me if they could send me one. That’s how companies market nowadays. They contact youtubers with a descent number of followers and they ask them to do a review. It’s way cheaper to send out some of your product than to spend thousands on commercials on the outdoor channel or TV....

Nice review Sean. If folks r making slight adjustments up & down then the angle of the sight after u move it is nice since it will be a little shy or over 90* vertical 2 the arrow sight. U don't have this verification on a traditional sight. I think that saves time sighting in.

The chart they include can match your current sight to find the EZV sight you need, you don't need a chronograph. That was the method I used and got locked in.

Please keep us updated on these. I find these sights very intriguing due to ranging aspect of the v. I'm a little skeptical about aiming on quartering shots and curious as to how you do shooting 3D targets when not 90 degrees to broadside.

I have shot this sight at many 3D targets, As long as I trust the sight and do my part on my fundamentals of shooting. The arrow lands in a Double lung position every time.

After a bit you won’t need to imagine that paper “sight in” target. You’ll center the kill zone between the two hash marks that land on each side, and you’ll hit whatever you center. Imo the best thing about it is that you don’t have to range find your hunting area or something you’ll be shooting at before you shoot. I have since moved to a slider single pin but I now have to know my distances after 30 yds.

Sean's Outdoor Adventures once you get very comfortable with it, the hash marks become a little bit of a distraction. Turn the insert around and try it that way. The results will surprise you.

Shooting at a 3D target really teaches how to bracket the animal with the sight especially when shooting from different angles. Remember that this sight is meant to get the arrow into the kill zone. It also makes you think about arrow placement especially how to hit both lungs.

Found it great out to 40yrds and after that was all over the place. Wanted very much to switch to this sight but just couldn’t. Can stack them out to 80 with my sight. Yes, I have to range but I’m dead on. Hope these work for you guys.

If you can see your target clearly, you can frame it up. If you can't see your target clearly you won't be able to shoot. That simple. You need to be able to see the line from the shoulder to see the kill zone and frame it up right.

Spellcheck, it HAS got more instinctual. Reminds me of the old days of having the assurance of 1 pendulum pin when shooting from a tree, however this sight is as solid as a rock & the math behind it is more true.

I have been shooting this EZV 4 a couple of months & after the initial setup which was tough due 2 weather it hasn't gotten more instinctual shooting just like shooting a recurve that u aim @ the target while u draw the bow. My shooting from all distances got better when shooting 3D targets after flipping the insert so my brain focused on the target & not on the yardage tick marks that r now facing the target I'm aiming @.

Would the size of a deer effect the shot placement I been using a single pin HHA slider on my Nocam and had a excell multi pin I couldn't get it dialed on my Vertix I had to get a HHA Tetra and FMJs match grades and set a 3° Right helical on my vane master pro and play with the release length with the swept back trigger being on my first knuckle that made a world of difference with a Hardcore max I was getting a lot of high and low impacts before that a much cleaner release than a more shorter setting they claim is better and I got a better peep and sight alignment now with the shorter ATA

I can understand hunting for food, but i find it gross having their heads on a wall. It's like having a ear necklace in war, or keeping the face skin of your enemy. People do it, but it's kind of weird.

I feel the same way about tattoos and earrings. Why in the world would someone want to have a needle with a motor on it ram into their flesh at high speeds to inject ink that will never go away? Why would someone want a metal spike plunged through their skin to hang an ornament there? Yet, I give people the space to be themselves and do their thing. As for a hunter, there is an aspect of a memory. When I look at a deer mount I remember the whole experience.

For me id use the meat and discard the remains so i don't have the memory of the animals death always around me. I guess different people can get different memories from the same thing. Like you say, tattoo's seem weird to us, but to the person getting them, it represents something, a memory, a decision, person, or whatever. It's not for me to judge. And really it's not as strange(to me) as the majority of people who are completely detached from the fact meat comes from animals.

What happens when you have a big body deer vs a smaller doe or a coyote that comes out for that matter? You're going to shoot high on any body that is bigger than the practice target and low for anything smaller, right? What about quartering or on hills? Doesnt seem like it can work for those type shots.

The lack of micro adjust and system of radial elevation adjustment, requiring you to level your sight, seems pretty inconvenient. I get that it is a good approximation, but I gain confidence from being dead on. I don't care if the second to range costs me an animal some day. I'd rather not approximate and call it good.

Some people that I know that have and do “archery hunt” for many many years don’t ever know practice and wound deer every single year, never killing one in the years I’ve known them. Literally.

Aaron, wow, I think you need to realize that I am not here to sell products or create commercials. Sorry if I didn't say all the things you wanted to hear. I tried to be very positive and show the product. I had it pretty close in a short amount of time and thought that showed that the product could definitely be sighted in. I didn't say anything about dismissing it. If you were listening in my other video, I have been planning since last year to use a different sight and I still want to follow through on that. If I get a 3D target, I plan to give this some more use and try it out further, so I am not sure what you mean about dismissing it. I'm a bit shocked that people respond the way you have. This isn't TV where sponsors pay people to say whatever the sponsor wants them to say. I was trying to be positive and unbiased.

I gave your product a review with the time I had. My viewers like the review and there was nothing negative in it. Here is a suggestion, rather than just think about yourself and your product all the time, put yourself in other peoples shoes and ask them what their time availability is etc. This is called empathy (putting yourself in other people's shoes and I think it could change your life in a positive way if you tried to do that more often rather than focus on your own hurt feelings.) To tell you my experience as a youtuber, I get requests like yours to review products all the time. I've got alllll the emails to prove it. When I do agree to do a review, I get follow up emails daily asking when the video will come out. When I got your product, I was trying to go out of my way to get a video up for YOU. I was actually trying to do something to help your product by getting a video up as quick as I could. Most manufactorers write to me thanking me for getting the video up. It was very inconvenient for me to try to do the video for your product, but I did it to get word out on your product as quick as I could. I really don't know what you were looking for, but I said nothing negative about your product. People had positive comments on the video. The fact that you are commenting like you are is really strange. Not sure what you were expecting but I don't have time to drop everything, all that I am doing, and all that I already have going on, to try to do things that would cause everyone to want to buy your product. I'm not here to do that and you never asked me to do that. I was asked to make a review video. Again, I said nothing negative about the product so what are you so worked up about? Here is a suggestion. Put all of your expectations aside for a moment and go back and watch the video. Look for anything negative stated about your product. You won't find it, and here you are complaining about that video. I really don't get it, and I don't get you. It is great to be passionate about your product but not to the point where it prevents you from seeing things as they really are as opposed to the way you would prefer them to be.
