This is the first ever golf cart that I have seen the controller bad and it show voltage out. Just wanted to give everyone an update. It was the controller. Had one driver inside burnt up. Always a first for everything.

I wouldn't know what to charge for it but it is priceless to me. First video I've seen that has my type of cart. Thanks brother. Subscribed for sure.

I'm going by the f and r switch, but everything else is the same as well so I am pretty sure it is. You got a complete layout of the wiring? I started with nothing hooked up at all. Either way I haven't even tried anything yet from the video I'm excited to see in the morning. Thanks brother

Nice work! I like that fact that you get right to the point. Also, I don't like channels with fancy intros and a bunch of cheesy comedy.

@@fwflyer78 I agree with you. That’s why I make them like I make them. I can’t stand them.

Great CONTENT as Ever. I charge what my TIME is Worth 2-3hrs Diagnostics to Start on Electrical or Driveability issues.. and 3-5 hrs Labor When They Touch 1st. Am 62 with 35yrs Experience 🙃 Time is Expensive !!

@@HYBRIDEVMASTERSGARAGE best comment I’ve heard on what type prices should be. A lot of people think because I fix their issue in 2 minutes. That they should only pay for 2 minutes. But what they don’t realize is they pay for knowledge. Somebody that takes somebody with experience to fix in 5 minutes will take somebody else several hours.

I can replace anything in the cart if I know what it is. Your trouble shooting videos are a great source of information to steer me to the real problem so I’m not just a parts changer looking to see if it works or not. You already helped me find a bad controller on a cart that died intermittently and just the other day on adjusting the pedal magnet rod into the ITS because the cart was leaping forward as soon as you stepped on the pedal. I just fix carts as a hobby in my area to keep busy in my retirement years, keep up the good work !

@@billmackey1072 thanks for the words. Man. Glad I am teaching some people. Glad you’re learning. That’s the purpose of my videos. So the average person like me. Does not throw money away. Instead they replace what’s necessary.

I have a txt DCS 36v with an Alltrax controller. I keep getting an “open field” error (5 blinks of red led when gas is pressed). I had replaced the motor because that was shot, it did run for a bit, then started intermittently acting up, then all the time. Also replaced solenoid and ITS. Any ideas (besides replacing the controller)?

@@jeremyvandeusen4317 thanks for commenting. Hit that like and subscribe button for me. Take your volt meter and put it on ohms. And unplug the black and white wire. One lead of the meter in each and see if it 0s out. If it does then motor and the wires are good. Next leave one lead of meter in either wire then touch the other lead to the aluminum frame that the controller mounts too. Let me know what it does

Go to the minute 14 and it shows you how to test the motor wires and the motor.

Thanks! I’ll check tomorrow. This thing actually made me retire from work. Just about a year ago, my son was driving it, it died, I went to push it to the garage and my feet slipped on the grass. Ended up dislocating my left shoulder. Long story short, had rotator cuff surgery in March due to it. Being a medic, I couldn’t lift anymore, so I had to medically retire.
