Would you recommend using a heavy gage wire and a some spray on terminal sealer?

Dave, Believe it or not, I use a little bit of dielectric grease on each terminal and no corrosion will form. A golf cart shop mechanic told me about it and it really works. The sprays are a temporary fix in my opinion.

Anything larger than 6 gauge (stock) is not needed unless you upgrade the motor that requires more amperage. Back when I was in the field we used multiple items to coat the terminals such as: terminal protectant, grease and even spray paint. The main objective is to put a barrier between the terminals and the gas that comes out of the batteries while charging.

I have an RXV that has been converted to 6 batteries and programmed to run 24 mph from 14 mph. would you recommend larger cables for this? Also did you not replace main positive and negative wire?

Larger cables are really not needed unless you increase the amperage draw through the entire system (motor exchange). Yes, we changed out all cables even though it may not be in the video. It may have been edited out for time restraint.
