Mine is a 2013 ezgo , solenoid has power on the pole that is connected to battery, but from the other side of solenoid to starter no power!.

Apparently it's not transferring the power. A solenoid is just a switch, Do you hear it click when touching the pedal?

my cart won't turn over but the solenoid just keeps clicking like a bad solenoid on a car. Would that be a bad solenoid?

Need to use a volt meter to see when it clicks if it's transferring the voltage from one side to the other? Or like in this video see if it's getting to the starter? Let us know if we can help? 276.632.8905

@bosweat75 yes that reading should be at the battery side to the solenoid and when it clicks it should transfer to the other side, if so its OK and problem is prob. The starter? Brushes?

@@cartsmarttv just now getting back to the golf cart... it is rapidly clicking when I press the pedal. There is voltage going into the solenoid but not going out of the solenoid. This is at the two large posts on the solenoid. I believe it is a bad solenoid.
