The worst Speedrun I have ever posted...

This is my first run of this game. I have not spent anytime routing the between level movement, but i can see that it could be improved greatly, but i dont care atm. I would lean on the side that this would be considered NG+ because i have the stages unlocked, but since there is no established speedrun.com board im just gonna call it Any% for now.
Im not sure how categories are going to work for this game, but i assume it would be something similar to this, A category for each hub world, ILs, and maybe a category for all of the Hub-worlds/levels, and then your 100% categories and what not.
For a first run i dont think it was all too terrible, aside from Chase the grade, which has been a pain in the ass.

Hey man, nice video! I learned a few things from you! I've only really ran the first level but I got a 2:25 on it. I'll hit you with the unwarranted optimizations that I know. At 1:18 in your video you can jump right onto that second balloon stack from the table with the right jump and spamming space-bar. Same thing at 1:29. At 1:54 jump on the blue mat to the water fountain, then you can jump right on that pillar that leads to the pole. At 3:08 when you grab the bar you can look downwards and hit space 2-3 times to jump above the bar and land on it.

Thanks for the suggestions. I did this pretty early in the day and since then ive optimized a couple of levels a bit more. I've gotten the first level (ABC 123) down to a 1:30 and its far from perfect. i'm going to upload it before i go to bed here.

Nice run! Just started fiddling with it myself today and I can't wait to run it. A little tip as well if you haven't found it out yet but on Chase the Grade (which I agree is hell) in the cavern part, at 17:22 instead of jumping up then to the right to take the rope, you can stick to the left side and squeeze between the wall and the wooden beam and jump on to the blue box and across. That will easily save you about 6 to 8 seconds and is much easier. I beat Chase the Grade in 1:51 and I messed up on quite a few parts so there's a good deal of time save you can get from it. Good luck on improving your run though!

For ABC 123 On the second Bar in the gym area, you can just swing, look up and to the left, and try to jump onto the bar itself. Pretty easy to do and a lot faster.

You should use this run and the making of the discord to try and get mod status (if you want it) for the game and try to make this a sick new speedgame. Can't wait to fiddle around with the game myself

Yeah i hope this does well as a speedgame as it has a lot of potential. Its pretty much KZ from Counter-strike but on a different engine and with different twists to it. And i was a KZ addict. I've been waiting for something like this to come around for awhile and i've been really enjoying it so far.

i mainly bhop on csgo so are the controls/strafing similar to it i see you trying to do fast mini strafes in the air sometimes to try and get more distance on a jump just like you would when bhopping i just wanted to know before i purchase it next month or whenever I get paid.

Its similar but different. The main differences are that you can only gain speed from a single strafe per jump, so you cant strafe back and forth in the air to gain speed, only a single strafe. The little white half circle that comes up around the crosshair is a visual representation of what i mean, it shows you how much speed you have gained for that strafe. The second major difference is that you Hold 'W' while doing strafes, so it would be WA or WD instead of just A or D. Also you dont need to be pressing A or D to turn in the air, you just turn the mouse while holding W. I've seen alot of CS players like the game and a lot of them not like it, I came from CS:GO KZ/Surf/Bhop myself and i love the game. Hope this helps

Yeah like the description says this was the first day i got the game and i was just uploading a run to try and get a leaderboard for speedrun.com, ive since gotten alot better at the game. I have a 14 minute run of this and i'll probably get a better one as soon as i find the time to do some more runs
