Question. Is there a guitar buss preset that takes care of compression and eq? One of the challenges I face when recording are that my chugs are hard to tame and they require processing after the guitar.

No, this is not possible in EZmix 3. All amplifier presets have cabs in the signal chain and they cannot be disabled.
