cool! I used this technique to create a truncated icosahedron with 6 triangles instead of hexagons. took a lot of time, but was definitely worth it! thanks!

What a pleasant surprise to wake up and find a new EZ Origami video has been posted after so long. Lost none of the touch, I see. Still the same very clear, thorough and easy to follow, well produced content. Thank you.

Very nicely done. I've been making Snapology models for a while, and yours is the best instructions I've seen on the web. My book/kit (Geometric Origami) gives instructions for the icosahedron and 14 additional models. I'll reference your video when asked about on-line instructions.

Great to hear from you, Faye. I'm so glad you like the video! I'm not sure if you recall, but you were actually the first person to teach me this technique (using ribbons) at a local origami meeting. In fact, my first ribbon snapology icosahedron can be seen in the introduction to the video. Congratulations on your book/kit, I will be sure to add a link in the video description and on my website to send some of my viewers your way!

Quite repetitive...but an amazingly simple model using the idea of connecting modules! For once, the name 'EzOrigami' means something! Well done on the explanation Evan! Much simpler than your other tutorials! Keep it up! :D

Great video as always Evan! I love how clear your instructions are. I folded this model from Faye E. Goldman's book Geometric Origami, it comes with instructions for 15 models and 750 strips of patterned paper. Although I have to admit, the way you added the last five triangular prisms looked a lot easier than the way it was explained in the book! It's great to see your KZbin galleries back online :) I notice a couple of my folds there :D On another note, I finished folding your Star Icosahedron and I have to say, it's a truly wonderful model! Looks fab! I will have to send you a picture of it when I get the time. Did you get my message on Flickr about it and some other ideas I had for similar units?
