Ezreal's character design is so good you understand him even without knowing his lore. U said he gives off an 'entitled teenager' vibe and well that's EXACTLY what the champion design team was going for. This show's the power of good voice work and art, you have an understanding of Ezreal's character and background without ever reading a single piece of lore on him. Idk i just think that's really cool. It's also not easy to do at all lol.

First elnuks/frostbites, then Karma, then Riptide Rex, now even Shadow Isles. I think Ez was born to annoy people.

We could argue it wasn't his fault like 3 months ago, but by this point he's been oppressive in so many different decks, it's clear that he's too versatile for a combo champion. Hey Mogwai, I am a fan of Ezreal as a champion and his character as well, as I have read his lore and stuff, and I have made a decklist of my own that is very similar to this one but combines Ashe and Ezreal along with Frostfang wolf and it is great at removing opponents units and great at keeping Ezreal alive as they usually focus all of their spells and power into removing Ashe and the wolves and underestimate Ezreal's power which levels him up very fast as well. I would be interested in seeing your take on the deck if you want to build it up soon and get a bit more of Ezreal action. I just love Ezreal too much man, I think he is very cool (I also mainly play LoL), thanks!

That was the first iteration of Ez decks but it got pushed out of the meta in the beta probably because the Karma/Ez deck was better but Karma got nerfed so who knows now.

Culling Strike, Reckoning, Noxian Fervor, anything that damages or stuns + Ravenous Flock or Noxian Guillotine if damaged, and its 2 Challenger Units which can challenge Ez. Thing is, Ez is usually coupled with Ionia to capitalize on its low mana cost spells in addition to Deny alongside stat boosts so it'll be tougher to take care of him. Ofc Freljord Ez can be as you see above while Shadow Isles Ez can just keep reviving him indefinitely while keeping your Nexus healthy through drain, albeit the combo being mana cost intensive. There's also Demacia Lux Ez where you put Unyielding Spirit on top of him and just profit from Radiant Sparks.

That's why I paired him with bilgewater initially. Cards like the box or whispering wails can hit multiple targets but you target them all at once providing only 1 tick towards leveling Ezreal up. However I had noticed where Make it Rain targets randomly upon being played each unit hit by that counts for total possible of 3 towards his level up. There just aren't enough cards like that in the game much less in Bilgewater and so I decided Shadow Isles with it's various removal tools was a better place to fit him in.

Ezreal and Vi are both one of my favorites from League of Legends. Both from a playstyle and a character perspective. The Piltover guys are all dope (Vi, Cait, Ezreal, and Jayce). And then of course Jinx being one of my favs too. Cool to see a frosty Ezreal deck with some Vi too. Will definately play some of this

It's scary how well they captured LoL champion's gameplay with their cards. Ezreal in the game is exactly that: chipping away their health with your poke, biding your time patiently until you reach your power spike (which is vastly sooner than other marksman) and then surprise them with your extreme burst out of nowhere.

Ezreal is a nice champion, I mean, it's quite interesting the way it works, because it's like, you can flood the board with a giant army of units, that I will not care once I level him up. Also, I'm happy to know that Ezreal and Lux now have some sinergy since the patch where they made Lux be able to create the final spark by using several spells instead of being forced to use a huge one. After all, knowing the fact Ezreal is in love with Lux, it just adds more reasons for me to want to make a deck with this two champions (Also, ezreal could benefit from barriers a lot.)

I like the deck and actually used it today as an inspiration because i like deckbuilding myself. Came up with a pretty solid Fizz/Ezreal/Gangplank deck. Each champion offers a different wincondition. Im on a huge winstreak with it and its really fun to play. The "draw from opponment deck" cardpackage is busted in my oppinion, but fits this deck really well. I added the mushroom guy for the lols (drawing mushrooms for my opponment) and because he levels up my gangplank really fast and enables Riptide Rex. Riptide Rex ensures the level up of Ezreal if i dont find my "make it rains." Actually a really strong interaction. The problem as I see it with Ezrael, is that he is generally used as a combo piece to cheese the opponent, usually alongside Karma in the late game when at least just looking at his card, he screams Tempo/value rather than combo. And I hope the devs can adjust him to shift him more towards that direction. I have an elusives deck that centers around Teemo and Ezrael but more to take advantage of them being elusive and generating value (shrooms/mystics). I really do enjoy playing him much more as a means of chipping away at the enemy nexus and taking pot shots at their board instead of the stupid OTKs with Karma.

Ezreal is hated because he's another Elusive champion, which by default makes him much harder to deal with than most champions. It's the same as Teemo, except Teemo isn't burst from the hand.

my theory is that they want to up the usage of the cards that counter it, like will of ionia (which usage would get lower after the 4 mana stun from ionia) and detain, after people craft more of those cards and get used to use them, they will nerf it

unyielding spirit needs to become a slow spell...its busted the way it is right now there is no outplay in using a burst spell that jsut says fck u i no di.if it was a slow spell tho it would allow for counter play (other than recall)
