The Lechange/Imou (Dahua) IPC-C26E is the direct competitor of this camera. The C26E has ONVIF and a speaker but only WIFI. In my opinion it is the better camera.

Ok, so your video was spot on in explanation but im running into a issue, every time i try to connect the cam via the app the signal dies then reconnects then dies again, im not sure if its the router or the cam that is at fault...any thoughts on this?

Might be the connection on your phone too.. make sure you have adequate signal.

I have a mesh system now..but I used to have range extenders which worked ok too. You do need range extenders if you only have one router/wifi access point.

What's the point of the ethernet connector if it can be set up via wifi? I want to drill a small hole to run the weatherproof cable through but the ethernet connector just adds bulk. Can it just be cut off and the cable end glued up to seal?

I've been trying to pickup 2 of their 1080p indoor cameras, and I want to add in this camera where I have an outdoor outlet for power. I say trying because a local retailer had the indoor cameras and some microSD cards on sale, and i ordered them a month ago. They originally told me ONLY the sd cards were on back order so woth a lot of back and forth, we agreed to cancel the cards and they'll send me the cameras. Immediately after that was settled, they now said both items are in back order. They already charged my credit card FFS.

@@ericqualley6764 I think as long as the write speed is able to keep up so you'll need maybe a class 10 or so. My experience with dashcam has me maintaining a degree of loyalty with Samsung, so far they've struck a good balance between price, performance, and longevity. I've had Lexar and Sandisk both die in less then a year of use.

ezviz is hikvision which is a very professional security company for government and companies.. I had a ezviz and i liked it but i had to return it cause i had no where to plug it in outside.. quality is good on camera but they need two things to make it better.. POE and sound with two way talk..

I got the doorbell camera EZVIZ DB1C my door mechanical bell still not working but the camera is good and i can see with my laptop windows 7 my camera. The software EZVIZ studio is working good. For the doorbell mechanical even with support it is not working. I am planning to buy a wifi EZWIZ chime bell hope it will work.

I found the Wi-Fi signal quite weak, only works ok if the camera sit right beside the router, if 1-2 walls are between the camera did not connect. And I have very good wireless router. Another thing that bother me is if the power is cut off for short time, when restarting needs manual configuration to the router?(maybe I don't know how to use it properly)

hi i have bought this camera and set it up with my home wifi connection and the mobile app all was working well untill a few days ago my mobile live feed stopped working when i tried to view my feed on my mobile it just started to proceed to loading and when it got to 99 percent it failed with 260064 failed it was working fine before dont know what has gone wrong i am able to view my mobile live feed when i am connected at home when connected to wifi but when i go out it does not work also i tried just my internet mobile data with my wifi switched of at home does not work either it only works with the wifi connected at home please help

Yes, the C3N can record to the micro SD card continuously and that was demonstrated in the video. The app displays a warning that continuous recording can cause memory card failure more quickly.
