Which flood light cam do you recommended? Im looking for 2K or better, no subscription, and just overall a reliable and competent product. I currently have the Ring Floodlight Camera Pro and thinking of switching to the Eufy E340.

I just ordered 4 of the Reolink Altra PT Ultra cameras, and within 24 hours, they all stopped working due to some sort of internal software issue that could not be fixed. None of the cameras could be reset to their factory default. This was after spending an entire day mounting the cameras high on my home along with solar panels. When I tried to reach tech support, no one was available to speak with me by phone, and I was left only with the option of emailing tech support. These are definitely going back. What a waste. I ordered them directly from Reolink so as to avoid any issues with Amazon (been there, done that...some manufacturers refuse to help you if an item was purchased through Amazon.)

And great idea to 3-D print a window mount. Go buy him a roll of that TPU filament.

I may be ignorant to how these should work but should you be able to zoom in more with the higher MP? Can you zoom in further on the license plate or your face at 50ft? I feel like that should be the test. At the 10ft to 25ft range view and/or whole image view I don’t think the MP difference is going to be seen.

I’m moving from Ring to Eufy. I have a few Ring solar panels and wondering if they can be used with Eufy products as some of the cameras are going to under cover. Is this possible or best to buy the Eufy solar panels?

Why hasn't eufy added an automatic 10 second open video to its notification settings for flood cams and doorbell ? It would make it a lot easier and you wouldn't have to keep pushing the button every time you get a notification you would just look your tablet or monitor A lot of my neighbors ask the same question

A couple of questions if you don't mind. It's now more than 2 years, so do you still like it? Secondly, does this ONLY use their cloud service or can you configure the camera to use a windows browser, like Edge or Opera so you can set up a network path to record to? I don't like FTP itself, so was surprised that you said that it used that old protocol. I'm finding it impossible, so far, to find cameras like my old ones, which are Foscam and Cisco. They don't use any cloud services, but are totally configurable so that I can have them record to my network folders, as well, I can access them on my smart phone using TinyCam Pro. Can this camera be configured like that?

Strange I’ve followed instructions but still doesn’t show live feed for detection on my echo show 8. After creating the routine and clicking the play button to see what it does, I can confirm it shows the live view however does not work on motion detection.😢

absolute garbage camera. I have a new iPad and a new iPhone and the freaking QR code for this 30 won't register. Plus, everything is using a tight font size of two.... if you can't get the installation done nicely correctly, efficiently, then I called BS on everything else. now that's 30 minutes. I've lost my life..... what's the time watching you rave about this?

The s340 would be money 24/7 recording. I currently am going to put indoor cam 4k e30 outside hidden from the elements. I do like the zoom but oh well. I have 6 s340 already.

I was about to purchase and try out some eufy cameras. Specifically the S340 & S3 Pro. However, I’ve been reading A LOT of complains about the app. There are a lot of ppl complaining that eufy shows a lot of ads on its app which is a BIG NO, NO for me. Can someone please confirm if this is true or not? Right now I’m testing out a pair of Aosu security cameras and I’m in love with the app. Especially the 4 in 1 camera viewing. That is one thing I wish the eufy app had, the ability to have 4 in 1 viewing for all cameras instead of jumping from one to another.

Hikvision's audio is terrible, although not necessarily a dealbreakers since any video that's recorded of any intruders will probably not have any audio, unless there are 2 or more talking to each other. As far as video, I do think that the Hikvision has less noise at night, but niether are exactly stellar.

Can you add a larger solar panel, maybe even if you have to HACKSTER a larger (different brand) solar panel? Of course this would end the factory warranty probably, but still might work.

Have they fixed the 2 way chat? It always lagged on the older cameras. Impossible to have a conversion. I have the Eufy 2K Floodlight but it doesn't have a memory card option. Someone stole my bike when I was on holiday over a week ago. Due to it not having a memory card option, I only have 5 days of footage. <:( I'm so pissed off about it hence why I want to upgrade to this one but only if Eufy has fixed up the bugs such as the 2 way chat, following a person better if they walk under it (2K version is too slow). The floodlights sometimes go on during the night but I find that's normal with floodlights these days due to poor quality. My old floodlights from 15+ years ago, turn on only when someone approaches. They never turn on randomly due to weather.

My Wyze doorbell duo didn’t come with a release pin. I had to use a toothpick (which got stuck 😂) when I accidentally attached the top of the doorbell to the back first and had to order a release pin from Amazon. Thank goodness I was able to get them alone and got 2 for 4$. Not sure how that was overlooked when packaging them but it happens.

You mention that it can record 24/7. Can it be set up to record only when motion is detected? Is the recording then available on my iPhone app?

Is there a way to mute the sound of the camera when tilting?

The problem I have is my doorbell is wired and my transformer is fine. The battery on the doorbell runs down even tho it's wired.

Treatlife Switches Beware of purchasing these switches. I purchased both single pole and 3-way and both failing. I had multiple ones installed and only 2 years later they are failing one by one. So far 9 have gone bad. No longer respond and cannot be reset. All installed by professional electrician. Multiple Amazon customers reporting same. Switches are supposed to last 20-40 years. Very concerned these can pose fire risk just waiting in the walls of my home. Amazon aware this is happening but will not pull product.

Thank you for all of these reviews on the WiFi cameras. It can be overwhelming being new to all of this. I just need something simple to use to monitor my garage for stray cats coming in and out in the winter. I’m going to with this one in black (c121) because I can just use mini sd cards for storage.

Hi Mate. Thanks for the video. Very informative. I am actually in search of the best home alarm system and ordered Eufy S330 camera and Homebase 3 bundle as someone broke in to my house . So I needed it so badly. Supposed to be delivered yesterday but they did not. I may refuse the delivery. Heard a lot of negative reviews of their customer service. I am now thinking reolink after watching your videos. How is the customer support? If you are going to choose which company will you pick? There are only 2 brands mostly listed here, I am just wondering 🤔 if the 2 brands can integrate well with each other. Like the Eufy indoor E30 and you have the Reolink outdoor 810. Should I consider a good ecosystem. By the way are you Filipino by blood?
