Crystal Stewart (Miss USA 2008) is the current owner of Miss USA now separate from MUO/IMG. The reason why there are a lot of Europeans in the semi because Trump wanted the a more "appealing" show with more European standards of beauty. He said this himself. Now in the IMG era it is more diverse, better walks, and more emphasis on beauty and brains.

I am totally agree, before there was more creativity in get different types of camera angles and nowadays looks like the camarographers don't rehearse it and only record for record. I really miss that from the Miss Universe competition, it used to give that vibe of a big production.

Colombia is the 4rth country with more classifications in the history of Miss Universe after USA, Venezuela and Brasil, and has 6 first runners-up! Unfortunately because of the bad Image the country had back in the 80's and 90's it was not possible for Colombia to win, having only 2 crowns 1958 and 2014. It is also the only country that had 3 first runners up in arrow. 1992, 1993 and 1994. And Also won Miss Universe in 2014, first runner up 2015, second runner up 2016 and first runner up 2017. It is a real powerhouse of beauty.
