Well, you can look at this 2 ways.... Cup 1/2 empty or Cup 1/2 full. I prefer the latter!
Yes, we still had trouble with "back-to-throttle" response after high rev WOT blasts, even in low speed/rev right turns. But, I feel better knowing pop-off (new spring) and jet change would not have brought a different outcome in Daytona. There is 1 more adjustment/change we could try but I had no motivation to do it at the track. Maybe we revisit this carb in the future and try that last change but until then I have new stuff on the way to replace it for good!
The kart and myself must be trimmed down or all the time, work, and $$$ to take an honest last shot at Daytona will be wasted. I'm comfortable again but just too fat!
