Nope, the only time you’ll experience any issues would be if you were messing with the o2 sensors up at the cats or if you didn’t get something tightened or hung right to make enough vibration to be picked up as a false knock but that would be difficult to mess up that bad

I dont exactly remember I believe it was somewhere around 27 inches though you'll just measure the center that you cut out of the muffler

So what did the inside of the stock muffler look like exactly

A bunch of chambers with the main pipe running through with holes in it and the chambers are filled with some form of muffler packing.

3in. The stock system has many different diameters for some reason but both the eco boost and the coyote trucks have 3in from the muffler back
