10 min job compared to over a hour if you add the resistors. I let my shit hyper flash fuck it. Only hyper flashes when parking lights are on / head lights.

Instale led normales sin resistencias, finalmente el hyperflash (de una ampolleta quemada) lo puedes eliminar mediante un escaner y forscan (software) , cambiando la configuración, lo hice y funcionó, me motivé a dejarlo así ya que las resistencias se calientan demasiado y derritieron cables.

I’m no expert but I changed my reverse lights to LED on my 12 f-150 and my 01 2500HD Silverado and haven’t had any issues with either bro. I noticed you didn’t get a response and since I did it I thought I would share my results with you.

what is the point of the LED lights if you still use resistors? A Electronic LED Flasher Relay will be the way to go. Plus 10 to 20% more lumens output.

Resistors also get very hot! its not good to run them. They get over 200 degrees in like 60 seconds.

It will probably wear out a little faster but I don't think it would hurt anything.

I installed 2 resistors per side and they are killing my battery now. My truck almost didn't start with a few mins of flashing. 100 watts per side drain and the resistors are very hot.

Have you tried using dual colors led bulbs so that the turn signal would amber color? Do you think the yellow light will be bright enough to shine yellow through the red housing?

My left tail light doesn't flash or light up for brake but running light work fine. This happen just on left tail light. I have removed all LED and return to factory. How can I find out what my issue is?

So can the resistors be mounted/drilled to either metal or plastic wall because my sport trac area I found to mount the resistor is plastic but wanna be sure if I can mount on the plastic wall piece of the vehicle and not gonna cause problem to wall piece when resistor gets hot?

Or you could not cut into the harness and not cause extra problems by cutting wires. Don't be cheap, show install of a resistor for led lights. It is better for the truck, of course you won't because you get paid by manufacturers to put in cheap crap.

If the bulbs you installed were LED they will cause the signal to blink faster. You can install load resistors to make them act normal again.

BAD Way to do it. Adding the resistor means it draws the same juice as the old bulb. Need to go back to the flasher electronics and fool it there with no extra amps required. Where is the flasher circuit? I also want more control on emergency flasher lights. To many rear enders

How come you did not just put the flasher relay in that would work with the led? Oh that's right you want them to buy your stuff and you make extra from adding resistors. If you are here looking at led's not that you can just change the flasher relay to one that will work with LED's.

So all fine and great if you can get the lens off. That guy just pulls it off. Mine....I am 67 and not built like a gorilla and I can't come even close to getting that off. It's stupid to have to pay someone to just pull the lens.
