There is a video about someone driving the Cybertruck to dead battery, the 48v system is still alive and turns for towing etc. But pull towing, it locks the wheels into park if you go over 2mph. That's kinda annoying. Wish it actually came with 500+ miles of range though, I tow a lot and go out of town a lot.

I owned 3 Toyota Tundras when I was in construction and home maintenance business. I gave up driving trucks a long time ago after getting my license to sell houses because it's just too impractical for me anymore. But as soon as the Cybertruck was introduced, I didn't hesitate to order one. I can't wait to drive a truck again!

Stainless steel scratches can be removed different ways including with coffee beans, wet sand paper, WD-40 and a slew of other tricks. The only issue with stainless steel is not letting it bread. It seems that wrapping it can oxidize the stainless steel and then it’s a pain to clean. I guess it has to be done right by a very competent installer.

Love the red wrap. I see a rear view mirror. I thought Cybertruck didn't come with one? Also, to answer the gentleman's question, there's a YT'ber who did a range test with a Cybertruck until it wouldn't drive anymore. He was still able to turn the wheels even though the truck wouldn't drive anymore. He was towed by another truck by a tow rope to a SC which he had almost reached, thus the steering ability.

19:42 Here is where it’s discussed that the cyber truck owner is concerned about the quality of the interior of the Tesla being durable high-quality. I took my 2023 cyber truck to the service center and show them that my seats change color if they get damp from the passengers sitting on the chairs underneath a glass ceiling on black seats in the tropical heat. There was a factory representative there that immediately blamed me for their low quality materials. He said it was because I use lotion that makes their seeds change color. I asked the guy from Shanghai if he thought that I was wearing lotion on my shirt? This made him agitated and he raised his voice at me, saying that those are very high-quality seats, and they don’t just change color. Mine is a May of 2023 model Y performance. Hopefully the cyber truck interior is a better quality.

Love this honest and passionate interview vs the F-150 which is cutting production in half as it is NOT selling and Ford IS LOOSING 3+ BILLION on it's recalled EVs this year. It's actually more a Sports Truck. Ford should have gave it the Shelby treatment, lowered like the original Lightning. Then once they figured out more range with less battery they could have done a real EV Truck.

For the money they're asking, there's absolutely no reason for that rear view mirror not to have a video screen in it. Most, if not all, of the top of the line ICE trucks have one, and they don't even need it as much as Cybertruck does with that toneau cover blocking the rear window. Kind of a fail for Tesla, really. Yeah, the rear view image is on the center screen if you want it, but with everything else going on with that screen, you shouldn't have to use it for that, too. The mirror is already there. Stupid not to use it for the rear-view camera. I'm really kind of disappointed with how small the production model is. Elon's weird obsession with trying to make it small enough to fit into a garage really robbed Cybertruck of the interior space and utility it needs. It should've been a full-size truck. Instead, it's a midsize at best, about the same size as the Rivian. I still love the look, and I fully appreciate the engineering that went into its development, but Tesla made some really bad decisions out of the gate with this truck. Add to that the fact that it now costs twice as much (or more) than originally advertised and they've pretty much guaranteed I'll never own one. Makes me sad. I'd have loved to see one in my driveway someday.

As a F150 Lightning owner who is switching to a Cybertruck... the F150 is way more practical and useful as a vehicle. It has a lot more features and comfort. Why am I switching? Air suspension for offroad, Sentry Mode cameras, and dent resistance.

The Cyber truck will create its own niche market. Kinda like a Ven diagram pulling in buyers from other markets to create a unique category of buyers. For the most part most will never use this vehicle as a work truck. I see every brand of truck today being used as work trucks with company logos on them mostly for trade type businesses with the exception of the Gladiator. I think this cyber truck will be more of a luxury vehicle or status family hauler. If it fits in your garage and can be charged overnight, it will be very convenient for those buyers but I am still surprised to see how many people buy an electric car and don't have at home charging. Sometimes I see them waiting for an available Tesla charger at a local gas station which feels inconvenient to me.

Electrify America is awful as expected. Companies like EVGO and ChargePoint have for me, for the last 5 years, been pretty damned reliable. My only gripe in the last year is the growth in chargers hasn't matched the growth in cars looking for chargers but this only effects me once every couple of months and I've never been stranded.

As a Ford F-150 Lightning owner, with a CT reservation, this was a great video. I appreciate the "big guy" perspective as I fit that category. Ford did a good job on their first to market EV truck, but they have LOTS of opportunity to improve their software. The OTA updates from Ford have been slow to come and underwhelming. The "look at me" aspect of the CT would be something I would struggle with.

I’ve got a Cybertruck on order, but there’s no way it will ever compete with my 5th gen RAM 4x4 Megacab diesel outside of speed and handling. These are Not competitive work trucks. These are mostly a novelty in my opinion. Looking forward to doing 0-60 in under 3 seconds in a truck!!

That shot of the three trucks illustrating size comparisons @ 2:33 seems distorted. I've parked next to Rivians and they are not larger than my Lightning. Maybe it's a camera angle issue or a result of vehicle placement in the shot?

I see more Urban Cowboy trucks every day. These are folks that won't be seen in a minivan so they buy a P/U and never tow anything, really haul anything, or go off-road unless they take the kids to a sporting event and need to park on GRASS. The man of the house goes to Lowes in his $70K F-150 to buy a few bags of mulch and paint.

Great video, it took too long for the cybertruck to get here, and I have lost excitement for it. So much so, that this is the first cybertruck video I have watched. It was a good one for me to watch as as a 5 year model X owner who has used it like a truck. I have driven the rivian and the lightening and was holding out for the cybertruck. There is alot to be dissapointed about with the cybertruck compared to what was promised. Price, range, towing capacity are not even close to what was promised. I am still not sure what I want to do. I will have to see the cybertruck and maybe that will help. Right now, I am even thinking of going back and taking another look at the Ford.

So I have to comment on when they were talking about the steer by wire. The only reason the only reason is because of the shape of the steering wheel and the steer by wire it makes the truck jerk of how accurate and quick it is
