I’ve worked in body shops for 20 years. I literally cringed watching you drill into the roof of that nice truck. Living in the Pacific NW I’ve seen interiors ruined from sunroofs. I hope you never suffer a leak. Great video Mav! Good on you for DIY’ing it. 👍🏻

I mean here's the deal. is it really that bad? a rivet nut isn't going to be sealed no matter how perfect the hole is. It's why god invented silicone.

Mav just a little trick tip for drilling hole in métal, try to use a smaller wick or (foret in french) first so this way you got more chance to be center and for the kick back of the drill just go full speed and old it tight. You can trust me im a Millright

Hello MAV, I have followed you on you tube for quite some time and let me tell you that I had another impression of the typical North American, it amazes me to see that most of the equipment that you make to your truck you do it yourself and I like it a lot since you explain and show step step by step the stages of improvement of the F150 I congratulate you on the other hand I tell you that I am from Chile and I am beginning to equip my Nissan Frontier double cabin truck and I would like to change it for a Ford F150 since it is larger and more comfortable than the one I have and wanted to know if this vehicle in the US is more common and cheaper, the spare parts since here in Chile are quite expensive, to be able to import directly from the US since for me because of my height and driving comfort and space to be able to live with a camper it is much better. If you have any email to be able to talk directly with you, it would be ideal, grateful for your prompt response Luis Antonio.
