Well, its good to finally get some confidence under the truck. This has been the first modifications I've done and feels good to get my feet wet. Installation on air suspension and calipers/rotors really isn't that bad on an f-150.
Let me know if you liked this video, and if you have any questions. This is a good look in as to what you have to do to maintain your truck camping setup.

I think a huge reason we like you so much is due to the fact that you seem to not fake a certain personality for the camera. You're not acting overly excited and making your voice go two octaves. Youre not political, you don't talk about any drama, just a dude with a camera documenting the things he enjoys doing. Wish there were more like you

I know you’re kidding, but in all seriousness I think a lot of people would be shocked to find out that a ton of shit you’d take your vehicle to the shop for is incredibly easy to do yourself. My mechanic buddy said KZbin is the worst thing to ever happen to crooked mechanics, because now people are realizing that a lot of the jobs they charge a ton for and pretend are incredibly difficult to do, are actually pretty simple, and it’s getting harder for them to rip people off.

Shorty G that may be, but I never wail on car parts with a metal hammer... especially not next to anything threaded. Great job Mav! Looks like a job well done. Just a side note... When bleeding brakes, you need to pump the pedal and then keep pushed down on the pedal while someone cracks the bleeder. Once the pedal falls to the floor, they need to tighten the bleeder back up and you can do it a few more times. Don't let the pedal up until they tighten the bleeder or you can draw air in. There is a good chance you still have a lot of air in those new calipers. Way to go on taking on this project yourself!

You can also gravity bleed them. Just leave the bleeder screw open and just let gravity do it's thing. The reservoir is the highest point in the brake system so gravity will push the fluid down and the air will bleed out on its own. Just takes a bit longer.

Just as a helpful tip for next time, you always wanna clean off your brake rotors with brake clean. They come with an anti-corrosion oil on them. Other than that great video! Also most of those part store workers are idiots that think they are mechanics. Considering the miles, I'd probably also replace the diff fluid and trans fluid if you haven't done so!

That’s because the economy has developed and people specialise in particular fields allowing them to pay someone else to do something they’re not good at. I know the education system in Mexico is dogshit like the rest of the country but surely they teach this in high school economics.

This was like a time machine; took me back to my first brake job (40 dang years ago)! I'm sure you read the tips, so you'll have more knowledge the next time. Don't take all the advice offensively, but there are very important steps that must be taken when replacing calipers. All I can add is to buy a few good manuals, maybe even the factory service manual. A bit expensive but worth it for the info. I've only been watching your content for a week or so, and am addicted Dude!

I know you dont have jack stands but never work with just a hydrolic jack holding the load. They have a habit of letting down. Just put your tire under there to give you room and time to get away if you need to. Air shocks are a great idea. They let you decide the ride height and how stiff. They need checked at least once a month. You are pretty brave doing all these jobs and you are right about a helper. Good video. Peace.

First off, if you plan to do any driving off of the pavement I’d recommend installing Daystar airbag cradles. Second, 45PSI?!? Way too much bud. With the little weight your carrying 15psi should be plenty..

Most of the time the squeaking from the back is due to the emergency brake pads which are placed in the inside of the rotor like a drum

Hopefully you bled your brakes. When you took off the brake line from the caliper you definitely let air into the system. If not your brakes may feel spongy or even fail.

Mav it looks like your parking brake shoes were metal on metal(this is one reason why that one rotor was hard to get off) that is probably where your noise is coming from.....IF it's coming from the rear as a rotational squeaking.

Love it great job, but an add on air bag assist is not “air suspension”. A complete air suspension kit would replace the factory coils. Otherwise keep it up.

I'm not familiar with the channel and just skim through the video but did you add the rear air shocks because you put a front end leveling kit on it and it looked like it was about to take off in a drag race I feel like the back side of my F-150 has about a half inch lower different than the front

I worked O'Reilley's last year until I had my second heart attack.....I would NEVER get you the WRONG parts....anyway.......not to be disparaging but you changd the rotors and pads and calipers...but inside the rear rotors are brake SHOES...for the E-Brake....would have been a perfect time to change them...seeing you had the rotors off anyway..

GREAT VIDEO. I need you advice Please! I am single woman. I have a 2020 Ford F 150 King Ranch 4x4. V 6 3.5 L eco boost . I use the Anderson Weight Distribution Hitch. I am towing an ATC toy Hauler with No toys. I have a twin Daybed in the back so most of the weight is in the front of the trailer. Cat Scale shows a total of 14,300 pounds. My ATC trailer is about 8,500. How important is it that I use airbags? and do I need the wireless compressor? Thank you! Morganne
