*The cover fit perfectly on my 2015 F-150 Ford Lariat. I have a drop in liner **do7.pl/bakCover** and I didn't have to shim anything before I purchased it - like I had read in some of the previous reviews. It came with a slight indention, or indentation, in one of the plastic underneath hinge covers, where another part had slipped up against it during shipping; but the indentation came out of it soon after I had it out of the box for a while. The box is actually very well packaged, but the contents are fairly heavy and I'm sure hard to handle for shipping clerks who no doubt toss it around rather than try and handle it carefully.I probably could have had it on in 30 minutes if I'd ever put one on before, but since I didn't have that experience I took my time and read the instructions, (drank a couple beers), and still had it on in a little over an hour. It's very simple and works great. Not completely waterproof I suppose, but hardly any leaks at all.I can see how you might have to shim it a little if you don't have a drop in liner. Even a spray on would probably need a shim or two, but I've been told you can find them at any truck supply store and they work great.I would definitely purchase the Bakflip again if I had to do it over, but I won't because it'll be staying with me for my next truck.*

I am getting one of these covers soon so have watched several install videos. Yours is by far the best; better even than the ones Bakflip do. They should just use yours.

Any bed cover that uses a cable can be easily broken into. Don't waste your money, your gear won't be safe.

There’s a better place to put the drain tubes. On my 18’ Raptor, to the left of the locking knobs is a hole. I had to pinch then shove it in but it fits and you barely see it. It’s better than the tubes running all the way to the bottom of the bed

what about the 1/16th & 1/8th shims for the side rails of the cover on the raptor? i did not see those used, or I just not paying close enough attention? because with my 2017 raptor & bak mx4 cover, the installer used shims.

How secure are these? Seems like someone can just come with a pry bar in the back and pop it up...

This top has three panels, the MX4 has four panels. I tried getting the F1 in a matte finish, but it is not available. Even though the MX4 is a matte finish, I didn't like the quad fold design and ordered the F1 in a gloss. Why do I keep seeing these install videos with a three panel matte finish top that does not exist?

The 5'6" bed is three panel. The 6'6" and 8' beds are four panel.

With it in the up position you lose 100% of your rearview because of the total blockage. I would rather have a roll and lock

It you need it in the up position your already having to transport something int he back that would most likely have you lose partial if not all rear view from the window.

J T but in the up position it looks like it’s against the cab, not a good idea as scratching would happen.

He didn't cover it, but there are three triangle shape bumpers; that's all that touches the cab.

Thats what I thought, maybe instead of 3 folds have like 6? So that it can fold up more and at least have half of your window viewable
