I love the little click click click click click click of the wheels (I assume) on takeoff and landing. Sounds like little tap dancing feet. I've never heard that before on any of the F 16 demo videos.

I'm trying really hard to enjoy these videos in VR. So from a recording standpoint, I REALLY don't care about the pilot or anybody else in the plane. I don't want to look at what's behind them. I want BE the pilot and get a pilot's-eye view out of the cockpit, as if I'm actually flying the plane. I'm never gonna be a pilot in real life, but these videos in my VR headset put me IN THE COCKPIT. They are the closest I'm ever gonna get to flying an F-16. So I'm begging…PLEASE include more Go-Pro over-the-shoulder vids in your playlists. I'm tired of looking at video after video in this playlist, and all I see is the ass of the plane. My heartfelt love and thanks to all the incredible pilots who fly these impressive planes and risk their lives to protect our country. These videos are a real gift. ❤

I spent $200+ about 12 years ago to go to Fleet Week had the VIP tickets and everything just leave Sacramento late, and get stuck on the Bay Bridge for about 2 hours. Make it down to the viewing area just to find no parking, another half hour spent couldn't get to the seat I payed for. Long story short, by the time it was all said and done the I missed Fat Albert and the Blue Angels already started their set. I will never do that again. I'll get a hotel room the night before next time I can go.

Major. John "Rain" Waters is a phenomenal aviator! That was some truly exceptional flying, although, I wish he would have busted the Golden Gate and flown underneath the bridge. Maybe they dont do that anymore. In past fleet weeks I have seen them do it and it's an incredible sight. Best part of living in the Bay Area is fleet week. All be it this years activities are curtailed because of Covid.

Oh, he took off out of Oakland.” Was so into the profile and orienting myself I didn’t realize he wasn’t flying by himself till 15:42 . Never knew watching from the ground that Alcatraz was such a reference point. Not sure if most know what a big deal clearing that block of airspace is. The only negative is how sad they had to take off from Oakland.

Looks like you took off out of Oakland...my old flight school stomping grounds. 🤙🇺🇸 The Bay Area was an awesome place to train. Tons of approaches and that place looked like a postcard looking out of the plane in any direction. Doing maneuvers or San Pablo bay was a blast.

the real sounds make this video extremely visceral and in your face, much better than those dumm music airshow videos. i bet these are the intake, the airstream as they work the plane its awesome. how loud are these sounds in person, would you get ringin ear, like a jackhammer etc if you would took off your helmet? i reckon you have active noise cancellation in the headphones its not just the helmet insulating... do you use these airstream sounds as subliminal cues, or its just butt feel?

You know there's a reason why they fly with there face shields down. You could have a Super Model for a girlfriend, and they'll look at your girl, and say, " He Has A $40,000 Truck ? I have a $50,000,000 F-16 " She spits in your face,, and she takes his arm... But it's worth it.. These guys have the Greatest jobs EVER. AWESOME VIDEO 🤙and by the way.
