USAF Airmen from the 169th Fighter Wing, South Carolina Air National Guard load munitions on F-16 fighter jets during the Weapons Systems Evaluation Program (WSEP) at Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida on March 11, 2017. The WSEP’s purpose is to evaluate a unit’s ability to effectively deliver munitions through all stages, from ammo build to weapons loading to the actual launching or dropping of the weapons from the aircraft.

Our load crew had the WLT record for loading AGM-65's at Kunsan AB, ROK way back in '93-94. Probably been broken since then. Loved loading the F-16. Hated gun pulling/installs and pulling/installing the matrixes. Especially installing guns in MOPP-4.

Depend. It is cost effective that's count. Mind you that this is live ordnance handling. In a battle situation they probably do it faster with munition dump closer.

in a full on war scenario this is a lot faster, but in scenarios like this where they are only training you want to ensure maximum safety. racing across the airbase with a 500pound jdam on your forks is a great way to get yourself killed.
