Guys, resin is not as toxic as you think in form we get it, its made by higly toxic materials but finished product is not.Same as materials for contact lenses (i used to work in lab making them) , are highly toxic, but finished product is not, imagine you put such a cancer causing chemicals into your eye. However, sawing, sanding anything wether is resin, polysterine or wood, in large quantities that creates fine dust its not good for your health when inhaling, and always is better to wear a mask, as i do.

You did an excellent job on this kit. I was a crew chief on F-16's for a little over 15 years. The absolute single best aircraft I was DCC on was a block 50 that I got straight from the factory in the 4th FS at Hill AFB in Utah back in the early 90's. I want this model to be my magnum opus build!! I'm not trying to be nit picky, but the only real mistake I saw on your build is that you didn't paint the aircraft battery or the halon bottle in the wheel wells. The halon bottle is a dark metallic color while the acft battery back in my day was blue... nowdays, for some unknown reason, they're pink... Again, excellent job!!!

@Toad20125 жыл бұрын
I worked on this exact jet, the weathering is a little too heavy, there is absolutely no rust on the wing tanks, the cap on top of the tank should be red and the intake walls should be gloss white and f16 seats are grey with green buckles and black seat pads... other than that a little streaking on the wings (where fuel leaks out) and exhaust ports and it would look like the real thing

At 14:10 you indicate Micro Sol is used before, and Micro Set is used after. I believe this is reversed. Micro Sol dramatically softens the decal and allows it to "snuggle down" on the surface. Especially Hasegawa decals become profoundly delicate after being exposed to Micro Sol. I can't imagine trying to maneuver decals around after they had been coated in Sol. But, I may be wrong.
