On this channel we like to do a lot of dogfighting most videos are some sort of dogfight between 2 different aircraft as we explore their different capabilities. From time to time I like to dabble in Virtual Reality, I think VR is a great new technology and I love to show that stuff off for the channel from time to time.
If you enjoy war thunder or Microsoft flight simulator 2020 or even dogfighting in Battlefield 2042, consider getting yourself into Digital Combat Simulator by Eagle Dynamics, the Combat side of Aviation with the BVR and Dogfights really provides a different and interesting perspective on aviation. Ha, it was actually formally designated the F/A-22 for a short time by the USAF as they were trying to convince Congress for more funding - the thought being a multirole aircraft (that could be navalized) would receive more support. The designation didn't last long and quickly went back to simply F-22, lol.

my grandpa was telling me stories of when they were bombing it shook the whole earth and the craters were so steep and the soil was so obliterated you could get stuck in them if you fell or jumped in cause of how fine the dirt was pounded I can only imagine what it sounded and felt like. he was with the 12th infantry in country Nov 67- Dec 68. also welcome home brother and thank you

That booster rocket on the first missile saved your life. When the enemies were launching, did the amraam lock onto them with its own radar when you mad dogged/rifled them? Radar operators: "Oh shit it's a Raptor! Wait...is he coming over the top?"

Ad. 2: I think he quickly boresight locked them. That's a mode for situations just like this, when the enemies are so close you can see them, you just point your nose at them and pretty much tell the radar to look where you're looking, without having to manually move the scanning cone anywhere.
