Hoping to see it this year, mom promised to take me before my 19th if she can. Been wanting to see another airshow, last one was the duxeford Battle of Berlin, being born in Canada, its not like I can see them as much, hoping to get to see the show this year

Great videos, was amazing to watch the F-35 in person. Some of the manuevers looked like they were almost defying physics! Would be amazing if you were able to timestamp each manuever on the timeline as well!!

In a dogfight, I think it would be over pretty quick. But the tight turns are only half the equation. The technology in both those planes is scary.

Both aircraft are profiled differently. F-22 is essentially an air dominance fighter, where as the F-35 is a multirole aircraft . In BVR the F-35 is a worthy opponent to any aircraft out there. A 2 ship, 4 ship or say 8 ship package of F-35's in strike, SEAD, or air to air, firstly in BVR is a package that would likely scare the beJeezus out of any enemy. But in dog fighting with the most updated flight control program the F-35 will be as capable as most any potential enemy out there. Don't forget improved engine program is on going to improve the thrust and performance of the F-35. People lament it's claimed top speed of Mach 1.6 but understand folks that is loaded with max. internal fuel and missiles/bomb compliment internally. All other gen. 4 aircraft will not be any faster once loaded with external fuel tanks and external stores of weapons. As much as I like the F-18E/F Superhornet and it may be the best non stealth combat jet out there. Once it's loaded with external fuel tanks and stores it is not capable of going supersonic, ie: faster than mach 1. A better test would be acceleration, from typical subsonic speeds to max. supersonic speed. I'm confident the F-35 would do very well in this performance realm. It's just a good thing Canada has decided on F-35A as her future combat aircraft.😎👍 Btw great video. I saw the F-35 on Saturday and was impressed.😎👍
