Why is nobody skeptical of this? I most certainly am. It always looks good for "tech demos" any time new tech is showcased, but then in practice when the public gets their hands on it it's not nearly as good as you think. It's often either pre-scripted sequences or only showing the few times where it works well. I'd rather see it in action with third party and independent players testing it properly themselves before thinking if it's good or bad.

​@@Topic_Yo nooo, you'll be able to choose either to team-up with a random players, pre-mades or go in with AI bot. The purpose of this is for you as a solo player not to be outnumbered by squads & at the same time not have random loot goblins as your teammates because this is one of the major reasons players go solo so they can avoid loot goblins. And to answer your last question, we will not be paying for this, just like the mobile version all contents, features, maps & events are totally for free. The only behind the paywall is the secured container. I actually think the reason for this AI is to use it as the alternative for SOLO-DUO MODE solo players have been requesting for.

It's programmed to pick the closest option. It should never do anything as extreme as that, unless they messed up their programming. There is nothing AI in any of this, sadly. It's all predefined. Voice commands, going for whatever tags they've used (tags like: color, item type and so on), which makes it able to check inventories and such. User says XYZ - game runs command that fits XYZ best - bot does XYZ action. Standard voice commands. There has been a few games (and applications) that has done this - so it's not something they can really screw up that bad.

This seems like it would be pretty cool concept for a survival game, like imagine is issuing command commands to a group of fellow survivors to build buildings and collect resources for you, and then you add some emergent gameplay opportunities with dynamic systems similar to how rim world works and have the companions dynamically react to each other. But I would really love this game if it was playable off-line, I’d probably play it 24 seven

I don't understand this whole hate about being able to buy koens. Tarkov had expansions that gave a lot of advantages too and in ABI it's way easier to get good gear and money with so many tasks and events, it's way more dynamic. I do agree that a game without this type of feature would be better, but I've been playing a lot for the past two weeks and this hasn't affected me in any way, I've been having a lot of fun with ABI. You guys can't deny that this game has a lot of potential, mainly with these fast updates and how they try to be communicative, they're definitely putting a lot of hard work on it. They seem more trustful than Battlestate at least lol.

When I saw the title, I thought the thing I had been dreaming about had finally come true, but unfortunately, it hasn't. The exact same features shown here were also possible in Ubisoft's *Tom Clancy's EndWar*. In that game, you could also control your AI armies using voice commands, and that was back in 2009. So it’s not the first.

This has insane potential. My main curiosity is if it understands actual tactical language. For example, if I told it to stack up on a door in a specific way? "Hey, Bravo 2, Bravo 3, stack up left side on that door right there. Bravo 4, stack up on this door with me." or if I gave it a specific clearing method to be executed with me: "Bravo 4, cover out flank, Bravo 2, cross clear this hallway with me. What do you see?" I understand that this is likely in the more earlier stages in its development, but seeing this would be astonishing.

Actually, impressive. I myself don't play, but it's nice to see that speech recognition AI is used in games. However, saying that this is the "first ever companion who understands human language" is like forgetting about SWAT4 where you could also give out commands using speech recognition to your AI squad mates. Yes, it wasn't perfect and not as advanced, but for 2005 game it was really fantastic. Well, most new players likely don't even know about a game like that.

This video sounds like an AI talking to another AI. It doesn't even sound like an actual person giving it commands. Beyond that, we're supposed to trust a company that has blatantly lied to people before, for example, they said there'd be no microtransactions that would give anyone any sort of advantage over another in a raid, yet you can quite literally spend real money on your loadout instead of having to earn it. Don't get me wrong, the idea for this is very cool, but there's more than enough reason to have distrust and strong doubts about the implementation and execution of it.
