There's so much RIGHT done here, I don't even know where to start. The touch and sound, the timbre of the piano, the tempo and nuances, rubato at ALL the right places, I didn't want this video to end! Delicate, accurate, precise and very thoughtful, I'm tempted to say Chopin himself would be proud.

I LOVE THIS RENDITION! i like hearing chopin pieces more in historical pianos like this. the lightness and gracefulness is really there like a feather touch with such poetic and lyrical tone! very well played reached more than my expectations!

Wonderfully lyrical. Some have said that Pleyel was even better than Erard, but they were clearly playing (hum) in the same sandbox. To get the same sound from a modern piano you'd probably have to start with Bluthner or maybe Christoph Maene.
