I show huge respect for you for not calling this the "Military" Polonaise despite receiving significantly less views from omitting this title.

Greg, dzieki! It was magic for me to imagine the King but more so to imagine the finally freed people moved to the tears. The “Military”, as we know it in some parts of Hispanic America, is very well known. As well as its composer. With your heart full performance it was natural to imagine the description of your prologue to “The Polonaise” as many also know it. In 1971 in a trip to Eastern Europe, I had the privilege of visiting Chopin’s birthplace in Zelasowa Wola, “ iron courage”if I recall correctly, along with his home in Warsaw, a public park with a gigantic statue where Chopin is looking at the stage for the piano, I was also impressed with the sincere respect of the multitude attending, y staying silent or communicating sotto voce. Sorry for a long and irrelevant commentary but your playing and comments really moved me. Greetings from California, today USA but formerly part of Mexico and the Spanish empire. Any resemblance is coincidence. Yours truly, Mauricio

Thank you so much Greg. I lived in Wien for many years and used to hear this played in the Spanische Hofreitschule regularly during rehearsals. Now I am learning it on the piano.

The Glory of Poland !!! Either a King or an army, both these two militant factors, compose the idea of national uprising, resistance, unity and freedom !!! This piece has been for almost two-hundred years, the typical symbol of pure nationalism, worldwide !!! Chopin's creative imagination matches the idea of patriotism. This type of music belongs to the sacred and thrilling sphere of any devastated and bleeding country or homeland, until a glorious end, suggested by eminent heroes and acclaimed statemen, comes true !!! Narration of History through polish dances and sublime pride !!!!! Thank you so much, Mo Niemczuk !!!

Ale pięknie Pan zagrał i powiedział. Gratuluje ( if I may say so).Utwory Chopina często mają właśnie 3 stopniową kompozycje ( Cz1- preludium, cz2 ( właściwa) interludium oraz zakończenie postludium ) postludium w tym polonezie chyba następuje w momencie schodzenia na te trytony ~~~~~. Jak byłem uczniem PSM I próbowałem go grać. Czasami jest na prawdę prosty (fragment 2gi początek) ale głównie bardzo trudny. Szacunek i pozdrowienia.
