It's probably an explanation to why they are targeted, but then they are actually attacked for the most random and unclear reasons. I'd agree with you if the adult side of what they do wasn't only causing demonetization. They are already punished for that, there is no reason KZbin needs to both single them out and also act so ignorant to the situation. What further should piss literally everyone off is there is a product called KZbin Kids already available. But because they're cowards, they treat the rest of us as dumb kids that don't know our asshole from our mouth hole. Their strikes consistently came from randomly decided 'foulplay' that KZbin AI has to be randomly dissecting. MxR used to be exclusively a Bethesda games modding review channel. At some point he got a modder who decided he or she was offended by the sexy modding content MxR was doing. When MxR reviewed this modders mod the modder put a strike on him for copyright, despite it being an obvious fair use situation. The mod wasn't even a sexy mod. That's where all this started. I don't know if the modder had contacts or worked at KZbin, but it just relentlessly snowballed from there. The modder was only attacking him out of jealousy because he made money reviewing mods that the modders didn't make money on. Because of this he stopped doing gaming content eventually. That was the start of it. He's, essentially, been harassed by somebody at KZbin ever since. MxR Plays used to be called "Potasticpanda", it was Jeannie's original channel that they switched to being the main channel after his original channel, which had over 2M subscribers years ago, was permanently demonetized.

KZbin actually holds on to a copy of the video for insurance purposes. as well as for DMCA (then that copy gets held even longer if there is a trial). They got a strike because the deleted video wasn't really deleted. You should only upload a video once, which means you should edit in a way that eliminates all instances of anything that violates, content Id, Advertiser Friendliness and Community Guidelines, then one works on creating a story that makes the video interesting and engaging.

The point of the video is that: bots are deciding if your channel is good or not, instead of humans like youtube says it is. Asmongold coasted through the video when he reacted to it and it felt like he blatantly ignored maybe half of what Henry was saying, focusing more on the fact that the channel intentionally skirts the line with _most or all_ of the metadata (tags, description, titles, etc), not just thumbnails and content, and that Henry was "conveniently" leaving out important info like particular offending clips and metadata to make the platform look worse as if he couldn't logic out that possibly putting any of that in the video might possibly get _that_ video a strike too. He needs to actually speak to Henry and Jeannie face to face to get a proper accounting of the thing so he can actually understand what's really going on with this platform.

@@chinyang1200 yeah there are youtube channels who are so obssessed on hating MxR even back when henry was still doing his mod reviews. and most of those channels are mod review channels who are jealous of MxR's success. now this is just pure speculation but i have a feeling that this whole thing may have been caused by an issue with henry's original channel. around 2017 henry got into a bit of trouble with a skyrim modder named Tarshana after henry featured her mod on his channel. and when she found out about it she threatened to sue henry for making a video with her mod without her permission and was demanding the henry pays her a ludicrous amount of money. which backfired on her after it was discovered that she used asset's from different mod creators without their permission. now i dont have any evidence but chance's are Tarshana's followers might and maybe herself have been the one's doing this sort of things to henry and jeannies new channels, because she tried to sue henry for mod review of a mod that she made using stolen assets. and also got her banned on nexus as well.

KZbin needs to do the thing that OKCupid does, where if you have good standing and verified to not be a bot, you can choose to be added to “community moderation.” If something is reported/struck, it is added to a list where all moderators can vote if it is against the rules or not. And if it is, which rule it breaks. If enough votes for it breaking the rules…it is an official strike. If not, the temporary strike/report gets removed.

If you get a Community Guidelines strike on something like the kid putting the ring on the finger, then know to not have any type of kid or even someone resembling a kid in the video. Also don't upload multiple copies of the video because it gets demonitized. Henry does the exact opposite of good business practices on KZbin. - Like MatPat once talked about him getting demonitized on several videos, but he and his team then figure out how not to let that happen again as best as they can. Also as this was originally Jeannie's channel she personally is the one up for getting banned, (I doubt they incorporated and transferred the channel to the corporation) like she could lose her Google Account, her email etc. and only have her Twitch account (seriously I wouldn't doubt they seperate shortly after getting banned)

The issue was that he also misrepresented what was happening to mxr. He basically did the F around find out meme but non ironically. Which is frustrating all things considered because anybody who is followed Henry for any duration of time knows that KZbin has actively taken a stance against mxr and is legitimately being unfair towards him. Not to mention the scandal of the person who basically came out and said that they do/did work at KZbin and they are intentionally targeting him. And once he got towards the later half of his video got to a point where he claimed that he was trying to be fair, only to basically say that he didn't believe anything Henry was saying because he misunderstood and misrepresented what Henry was saying. Something Nux debunked which was "strikes for thumbnails"

The main issue is KZbin relying on bots/ai to police content , hand out strikes, respond to emails, (refuse to properly) review videos during the appeals process. This issue began once they lost their personal agent/ human contact with youtube . This is a problem many have already been/beginning to experience and all at once it seems. It's simply do to youtubes laziness and the shift to releying on ai for everything, which lacks any in depth comprehension of the full context of anything within a video.

I mean, given how many videos on KZbin have questionable thumbnails anybody with half a decent brain would realize they allow "clickbait" as long as the content isn't actually outright pr0n. And their issues always seem to be videos that are unrelated, because if you look at the "reasons" stated for the strike, you would have seen "sexual image on thumbnail" or "sexually implicative title" instead if the thumbnail or the title was the reason for it. And those aren't what I'm seeing since way back. I mean, you get struck for videos ALREADY ON KZbin and are just fine and public. That does not make sense and is not fair in any sense. Oh, and the guy who got the adpocalypse to happen was Steven Crowder. And he wasn't wrong that a lot of bad videos are indeed getting through to KZbin. The problem is that KZbin just doesn't want to do their jobs properly and moderate content. They allow actual horrible videos, but do this bullsh*t to content creators that aren't even doing anything bad really. It's laziness and unfairness on KZbin's part.

Just a suggestion but how about not sexing up the thumbnails? Probably triggering the bot. No duh real people don't scan all of the videos. You couldn't pay me enough to review some of the illegal filth people try to upload. They may be good people but some of their reaction seems a bit disingenuous to me personally. If there's no problem with the content then take a look at how you are advertising it. Seems to me a perfectly logical consequence of those images. I hope they find another way to clickbait that doesn't get them struck so they can continue though. Of course getting struck for no reason is complete trash. If youtube wants to take them down for the images youtube should just say so and not give them strikes for BS reasons. It sucks all around. KZbins system sucks way more in my opinion though. That's not how review bots work. Thumbnails, as Nux mentioned, don't get strikes, they just get removed. Review bots don't get triggered by thumbnails, they get triggered by either mass-reporting, or manual input from the humans in charge of surveying the review bots. In both of those cases, some individual or some group of individuals have to be targeting said video in order to lead to this outcome.
