Apart from this, from reading Mick's book, I had the impression that he was originally mainly interested in her looks and her dancing, not especially in her singing qualities.

Very unconving! Prior tot the Rumours line-up they were always looking for singing guitarplayers, who also could write. When Bob Welch left the band, they found this in the form of Lindsey Buckingham. Regarding the other comment: they weren't a real bluesband ever since Peter Green left in 1970. In the years between 1970-1975 they tried a lot of styles, including: folkrock, prog rock etc.
