Been playing Samsho since I was a kid and this is my favorite one. The crossover is cool and the original samsho characters are also good. Wish more people appreciated what a great game this is.

@@guitaroach yup, the problem is the decision making at SNK, this game should had been received much better if one it had better Netcode, two if it got simultaneous release WW, and this point is the most important, just looking at the release dates in the wiki page gives me a headache, like really all these release dates!!! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samurai_Shodown_(2019_video_game) the third point - which is a point for all fighting games in general- i believe is cross-play, fighting games in general are niche product, the online community is rather small, so cross play will do wonders for the genre and should be pushed hard by the fans like they did with rollback netcode. but i believe all in all it did ok as a product for SNK, especially they most likely got good money from the Epic exclusivity deal.

This game is absolutely spectacular, but unfortunately the netcode is pretty terrible. After what Strive has done, its the new standard for 2D fighters online.

I played it on release and wasn't crazy about it, but came back recently and damn! The new characters are all super dope and the tweaks they made are great! Wish I'd stuck with it instead of wasting time on granblue.

But over time, most of us couldn't take the online and just quit. I firmly believe that if they did a proper modern online setup then this game would be striving online.

Warden looks like a very fundamentals character, SamSho isn't hard to pick up because there mostly isn't too much entry level stuff to learn outside of character specific stuff imo, it's tons easier to get into than Tekken for example

@@comb3596 That's not a problem with the game at all in the slightest. That's more of a you issue than the game being at fault here. You can't expect to grasp a proper feel for a game solely by watching it alone and that's especially true for fighting games. And for the record, the real biggest problem for this game is it's horrible online component.
