Hey, I actually spoke with Zewing about this at GDQ. Definitely seems like a flub on the backstage side since there was also that moment during Port Town in the King League where you hear him pause, then he says, "Good?" That's because he was somehow able to hear audio tech during that part of the run while they were setting up the runners on the other side of the stage.

I played F Zero a ton as a kid. Managed to finish Knight and Queen league on the Master difficulty but didn't even attempt King league, I'd have launched my controller at the wall out of frustration. The AI was no joke. Great seeing these guys play, way more talented than I ever was.

I always called the anonymous AI racers "Jam Cars," after the 3rd-car obstacle in the Tyco TCR Jam Car 500 racing set from the early 90s. Just a convenient coincidence from playing this game when it first came out in the early days of the SNES.

In F-ZERO 99 Port Town I and II got the name Cheat Town because of that shortcut. (Got fixed) and White Land I was Hack Land because thare was a massive shortcut (not shown in the run) where you jump to the left from the third jump plate. (Also fixed but Misa found a new one) That is some FZ99 trivia about the history of 2 tracks.

The brake tapping was discovered in 2011? What a load of garbage. Almost 30 years ago my friends and I figured that out. It's pretty obvious especially since back in the day you might only own just a couple games so you were definitely figuring out things
