In the second episode of "DCar Competition E", the six cars were given a comprehensive test of their driving assistance ability under 10 road conditions that simulate daily urban commuting. The Tesla Model 3, which is equipped with the FSD option, passed with a perfect score. The ZEEKR becomes the leader among the independent brands, while the BYD brother unfortunately loses the battle, which project made them fail? Please watch the show!

This is the first time I've seen "real world" testing, and shows only Tesla is close to autonomous driving and has the most effective driver safety assistance. Thank you for this eye opening video. Great work!

And great to think that this is using Tesla's 4 year old stack not FSD Beta! This is Tesla's 'legacy' autonomy software.

I would expect that there are some other ADAS systems from legacy automakers in Europe and Japan and South Korea that would perform much more closely to Tesla in a test, but still not as well. And which ADAS system does the American government have a huge investigation launched against? The Tesla ADAS, of course, but no one is using the government in a biased way, right?

Probably not if you are in the USA or many other countries. We see the opposite here only. Here's an example on margins. Monroe is a trusted source, been watching them for years. He rants, but some really good insights in there. Like ave cycle time of a Tesla factory operation is 40 sec (vs 60 sec industry). @@John-pl8yh What I'm saying is that I'd like to see Tesla self driving vs. Ford Lightning, Rivian, and other electric vehicles if there is such a thing. I think it would be more of a mocumentary than anything at this point.

@@KylersStudio Yes, to many people, safety features are like a basic checkbox and most new OEMs check all the boxes. I didn't quite believe this until some Banker told me that their car had the same safety features as equivalent to Tesla's. Automatic Braking... check! Auto Headlights... check! Lane correction... check! So any comparison against those others would truly disappoint. They are unaware, for example, that the seat belts tighten in a Tesla before impact based on vision only. I survived a T-bone in a MY last year. Totaled the vehicle, I walked away with only airbag marks on my left arm.

@@John-pl8yh Agreed that most people don't understand the great safety features of the Teslas mostly because the sensationalist media keep ragging on the few Tesla crashes and incidents they can find. Quite silly actually.

So which one has Dan O'Dowd's software?

Actually, the software Dan is using is different! In this video we see 'Legacy Autopilot', software that Tesla largely stopped working on years ago, they just matched the vision abilities with FSD Beta's as they improved that. In Dan's videos, we see 'FSD Beta', Tesla's in-development new version of Autopilot, key words being 'In-development'. Both are highly capable systems, FSD Beta even more-so! Legacy Autopilot is very robotic and won't exit its lane for much. The system is 'reactive', not 'proactive'. It'll wait until it's about to crash into something before dodging it, versus FSD Beta which aims to avoid the situation entirely, if that makes any sense. But, with more complexity comes more potential for issues! It'll be a long road, but FSD Beta should have easily beat these tests too, and even smoother than we see here due to much better control logic. Dan's videos are not real world situations in the slightest, they're designed to fail. I wonder how many times the tests are changed to get the desired result?

@@VoxelLoop I'd assume @magnusauto7941 did really mean Dan O'Dowds's own ADAS software (Green Hills Platforms for Automotive: Automated Driving Systems) he seems to be so frightened of becoming obsolete once Tesla's systems become mainstream (which he therefore trashes and tries to get banned).

以後應該會配合四週的車與環境固定感知器,共同操作。各地有不同等級的自動駕駛能力。車子進出某區會自動識別。一台車裝太多感應器昂貴又費電,與環境感知器共同合作,清楚又安全。 然後...無人作戰兵團就出現了..

啥时候拿蔚小理、阿维塔还有高合这些自称新势力顶流的车来试一下?ET5只有试装车,但是ET7、ES7不都是全功能的交付车了么?如果再加上BBA的电车做个对比就更好了😀

@@dongchediyuanchuang 没看到夏测啊,冬测主要还是行驶能力。我希望能看到类似这次辅助驾驶能力,尤其是AEB相关能力的比拼。毕竟不管是高速还是城市的辅助,导航、跟车都只是提供便利,而这次测试的内容(还有你们在另一个号里面的隧道停车等等测试)是救命的,作用其实更大。尤其是在辅助驾驶越强驾驶员越有可能分心的情况下。

Great test. Terrible performance by all other cars than the Tesla. Since BYD seems to be the only other realistic competitor for EVs (i.e. the only car category that matters going forward), then why would you even consider buying something other than a Tesla if you can afford it?

Looking at the other videos I think the first section was price and Tesla was most expensive bc it was old pricing and included FSD option in price.

Thank you for testing. 很可惜的是:在測試開特斯拉的時候,@7:42,駕駛介入而沒有真正的看到特斯拉的完整反應。(而其他的廠牌則沒有介入讓他們走完)爲什麽?因爲這樣,讓整個測試的公正性大打折扣。非常可惜。
