F1 2012 Gameplay - Champions Mode - Michael Schumacher

In this video I compete against the sixth champion in Champions mode at Malaysia. In this challenge I start 12th and must catch and pass Michael Schumacher, who lies in fourth. However, I have brand spanking new tyres and I have 6 laps in which to do it!
This game is being played on PC on high settings. I have got it on hard with all assists off.

And you're sure about that? Because I'm certain that it is. :P Don't forget that I am on new tyres while they are on used ones, and that you can only set champions mode to hard, not expert. If I get enough reaction like this, I might upload a video of me playing on medium, just to prove all the haters wrong!!

alex very good driving skills..are you playing with wheel or with gamepad?

It doesn't really hurt the lap times at all. If it does, I would say it is less than a tenth. It will hurt your Time Trial times as in order to brake late you have to aggressively downshift. However, in other modes where damage is on, I would say it is minimal.

Well to be fair, you do see this in real life. In Monza this year, the Mercedes' opted to make one more pit stop towards the end, and were charging through the field on the fresher tyres! Also, it is only on 'Hard' to be fair, you can't set Champions mode to 'Expert'. :/
