So, unpopular opinion incoming! I haven't liked the handling of any F1 game since 2017. Is 24 by any chance closer to that?

So excited! Planning to upgrade from Logitech G29. Definitely will get brake upgrate kit tok.

Charging 80 dollars for a yearly release product that doesn't work preset out of the box with popular hardware like Logitech and Thrustmaster, my God...

I'm a casual and I play with a gamepad, but I can tell you how much i hate the new handling. You don't even need to be an iRacing expert to notice how disconnected the car is from the track. It feels like I'm gliding on the asphalt, it's actually terrible. F1 23 was super smooth and natural in the way it felt, but this game is the opposite in every way. I do hope they'll patch it but I won't hold my breath, I know EA... Asked for a refund and I'll go back to F1 23

the handling is worse, well if you see how they are turning the corner on F1, then F1 2024 is more in the direction. 😂😂😂

Even by watching you feel how pointy the steering is.. if it stays like this then it will be terrible.. on the other hand the curb part is for controller players good (not realistic) but fun to play with.

as a pad main myself, I hate the new handling. Car feels off, unrealistic and unpredictable while also being inconsistent. Man...

EA gave up on Esports with the F1 series and now they made a game the professional competitive players heavily dislike. . Highly recommend not buying it vote with your wallet people

I did the same. I switched from Fanatec GT DD Pro 8nm to the Moza R21 with the FSR wheel

Id argue its not even built by engineers, maybe game specialists but definitely not a proper vehicle dynamics guy. Rfactor is what you get when you let proper vehicle dynamics guys at it. Project cars is definitely not a benchmark of any kind of realistic physics.

Just played and it feels like my wheel has had its rotation cut down by 80%. Feels really tight and when I counter steer from a snap it INSTANTLY gains grip and send in the counter direction. Like wut!?😂

Played the game extensively today, it’s a vast improvement over 23. Alas, as the content creators and esports drivers hate it, we will end up with the awful F1 22.2 update.

Listen, I’ve just played it for the last 5 hours straight since launch, and you could not be more WRONG about the handling. It feels like F1 23 which I thoroughly enjoyed except the FFB is even more detailed. Very enjoyable experience and I’m on the Fanatec CSL DD with maxed out FFB in game and on the wheel.

Kudos to your integrity on this. This will be the first time I've not bought it since 2014, also a big disaster, and I bought all of them prior to that. This is such a half-baked effort and a cash cow that really does need a total redesign. It will never be a great game as long as it belongs to EA sadly. Oh well, plenty of good sims out there to enjoy.

Got the game today, early access, I play Xbox on controller and the game feels disgusting. I hope they can revert to 23s handling model asap. 24 is very clunky especially in slow corners

I play on pad and havent really felt comfortable with the handling since f1 2020 so is there any way you could compare the handling on a pad from f1 24 to f1 2020? Very much appreciated if you can.
