Worst part of these videos vs ai. Also it's crazy as Ben says how passive they are. Each video there are about 10-15 examples of the AI being unable to handle Ben cutting them off (super aggressively btw) and they lose 1-2 seconds to him.

In f1 2018 they should add an option so that you can do a pit stop to change tires in quali like they do in real life if the weather is changeable

DON'T READ IF YOU HAVEN'T WATCHED 1) 0:25 Ben does a Time Attack Challenge in the 2008 McLaren MP4-24 at China 2) 1:05 Ben goes 3 wide with two other AI Cars and passes them successfully, by braking very late (Nice Move BTW) 3) 1:25 Ben completes the challenge 4) 1:40 An Aero upgrade on the car fails testing and is not applied (Rear Wing Upper Flap) and another Aero upgrade does pass testing and makes it onto the car ( Front Wing Gurney Flap). 5) 2:51 Ben's first outlap puts him 7th with a 1:35.510 on a set of US 6) 3:18 Ben's second outlap moves back up to 11th with a 1:35.260 on US 7) 3:40 Ben makes it through to Q2. OUT: Mas, Mag, Str, Weh and Eri (From 16th to 20th) 8) 4:12 DRS is disabled due to rain as Ben is about to start his first flying lap 9) 4:49 Ben's first flying lap puts him 3rd with a 2:02.086 on US in intermediate conditions 10) 5:02 Ben goes back out to set a time on Intermediates but Jeff comes over the radio and says it will go back to dry track shortly (Unbelievable timing Jeff) 11) 6:29 Ben doesn't get back out in time to complete a lap after struggling on his Inters on the 'Dry/Damp' track and only qualifies 15th with a 2:02.086 OUT: Bot, Ric, Ver, Gro and Daly 12) 8:15 It is a wet track for the start and all cars are on dry tires 13) 8:53 Ben is promoted up too 13th for the start after grid penalties 14) 9:48 Ben is up to P8 after a dive bomb of dive bombs at turn 1 15) 10:07 Ben goes up Kvyats inside and is into P7 16) 10:24 Ben goes up Raikkonens inside and is into P6 17) 10:37 Ben goes around the outside of Hulkenburg and is into P5 18) 11:09 Ben goes down the inside of Ocon and is into P4 19) 11: 33 A Renault has a mechanical failure and is out on lap 2 20) 12:57 Track is now completely dry 21) 13:17 Ben pits on lap 11 for a set of S, which should be his only pit stop of the race 21) 14:23 Ben goes up the inside of Perez and takes P7 once again 22) 14:34 Verstappen is going very slow after being pushed out wide and Ben goes down his inside and Verstappen tries to take the position back and ends up hitting Ben and Max loses some of his front wing, Ben is unscathed 23) 15:18 Perez tries to go around the outside down the back straight using DRS but Ben blocks cleanly and stays in P4 (Put up to P4 due to everyone pitting) 24) 15:25 Bottas tries to go down the inside of Perez on the same straight the next lap and locks up massively and hits Perez, no front wing damage visible. 25) 15:35 Bottas tries to go around the outside of Ben and blocks cleanly (As always) and Perez gets pass Bottas as he ran too wide trying to go around the outside 26) 15: 49 Ben makes a mistake on the exit of the back straight and Perez tries to go around the outside at the next turn but doesn't succeed 27) 16:07 Bottas hits Perez and spins him off after Perez failed to go around the outside 28) 16:31 Vettel is out after a mechanical failure and that puts Ben into P2 (Overtook Dani Ric as he was pitting 29) 16:50 Bottas very forcefully passes Ben, Ben is now P3 30) 18:18 Ricciardo tries to go around the outside of Ben but doesnt succeed. 31) 18:28 Ricciardo tries to go down the inside of Ben at T1 and almost gets passed but fails 32) 18:57 Ricciardo makes another mistake and this time Ocon tries to get passed Ricciardo but Ricciardo keeps P4 33) 19:30 Ben just manages to keep P3 and gets the final step on the podium after an amazing drive 34) 20:10 TOP 5 (From 1st to 5th) Ham, Bot, Daly, Ric and Ocon Please let me know if anything is wrong or ideas to make this better, I have sat here for over an hour and typed all this so a like is appreciated. Ben, remember a 'drive out' outlap is faster than a 'flying lap' outlap, always give it a go even if the 'flying lap' says there isn't enough time

Tip: Many times it says you do not have enough time and I've gone out and had 10 seconds or so as I cross the line, it's not always right. Just manually leave the box. I think it calculates it by how long a lap is, e.g 1.45'ish, and whether there is enough time to do that one lap (missing the fact you can cross with 1 second remaining). Some circuits are shorter than others, some pit lanes throw you out near the end of the track so it isn't a perfect science. Unless you can see you do not have enough time to get around to start a lap it's worth trying, especially since you can cut corners to start your lap.

Hi Ben! I really like your videos, you e-drive pretty well and I'm following your campaign since the very start. Only one tiny little thing bother me in your videos: your pitstop strategies. Why didn't you try more stops strategies? I know there's more risky but every race you suffer with tyre wear in last 5 laps. I think that your McLaren have enough pace now to get some positions after a 2nd stops, after all, good job. Congrats!

There should be an option in qualifying to have a in race style pit stop. It happens in real life and you know for a fact a team wouldn't take a car back into the garage to change tyres if time was tight. They would be in the pit lane waiting for you to come in.
