How on earth can you go full throttle just after touching the apex?? I always spin even if I try to speed up at the end of the turn, let alone the apex.
@Adam-rg8bg5 жыл бұрын
Depends on how quickly you are going at the apex. If you’re going faster at the apex the wheels are of course turning faster so you can get on higher power without wheel spin. Take Hungary T11, it’s a very quick corner so when you’re at the apex the same rule applies so you can get on the power earlier. But let’s say T2 at Hungary, it’s a slower corner so wheels are spinning slower so if you put in too much power the torque will be to big therefore spinning you out.

Difference is in a real car, you can clearly feel it in the pedals that the tyres are about to lock up or that the car is starting to unsettle and that you should release the brakes. In these games, it's hard to tell, especially on the wheel. The controller does have some kind of feedback in the triggers when the wheels are about to lock up, but you don't feel this in the pedals of a wheel. Not in my relatively cheap pedals anyway.

Its actually pretty realistic, what you explained to do is what actual formula 1 drivers practice and use on the track;as as practicing different turn radius's for different turns and conditions. They always want a quick launch out of the corners cause it helps them get to their fastest speeds, and the grip of the vehicle is able to support this approach
@JevanSangha6 жыл бұрын
Well, as long as it helped you, that's all that matters! :)
@novasketch86586 жыл бұрын
@@JevanSangha- yeah man, fun fact about f1; their strategy to overtake is to get into the inside of corner around the apex. They take the path above the apex and try to hit it directly in the middle as that will provide them the best possible momentum and sticks other drivers into a more offensive take on that corner. Only way to overtake take someone is through the deceleration zone. They have to break and try to align their car and disrupt that path of the other driver; but if there is another corner after that the driver that overtook will now be back into the offensive position. And they aren't actually allowed to overtake. They have to rely on the other drivers mistake to pull ahead. It's a back and forth game of offense and defense without the offense part. I've been looking into this a lot actually and everything I've looked into should be able to apply to you in your games. You should do some research on it and see if it helps you out man. If you made a video about that and everything turned out successfully then well hell man, you just made a strategy I haven't seen about in this game

I do also think that putting in more laps definitely help. Of course you can go in Time Trial and do 50 laps, but most people won't cause it's less exciting and just plain boring. But by putting the career mode at 50% or 100% you will enjoy the laps more, and it won't feel like such a grind like when you are doing time-trial. I can say from experience, my consistency has got drastically better since I went from 25% career mode to 50%, since I am doing a lot more laps in a bit more fun way than just against the clock. I’m not saying it’s bad,and in fact,some of the tips are indeed useful for racing,but it would be better if you remind players it only works in qualifying or time trails since you can’t have the same conditions on every lap of the race But overall,it’s a useful video for non-racers who wants to be faster.Keep up the work!😊
