I have the newest f1 2020 and have the understeer problem as well. The rear differential setting on your control panel is set to 70 percent. I set it to 60 and lost almost all of my understeer problems.

Nick, you really need to learn how to trail brake. With that, you can get soooooooo much faster

gamen metm trail braking is basically pressing the brake pedal and then slowly releasing it to prevent locking up which can help brake temperatures and makes you faster in a sense

The understeer you were talking about in qualifying is because the aero on your car is super weak. You need to focus more on upgrading that

It is quite frustrating. It happened to me back in F1 2018 the game crashed midrace, and I think: hum, the game popped out "saving data" on the upper corner occasionally, so I should be able to jump back into the mid race, but it turns out, NO. I was lucky that I just ran 25% length (It was Monaco, my hatest race, so I always run 25%), so I can redo that
