[LW] Ghost Taken into account the fact that the Mercedes both did 2-stops which adds roughly 20 seconds on, they would have to be roughly 3/4 of a second faster per lap. That may be possible in clean air, but these had lots of traffic from other cars who were slowing them down and making life difficult. THEN take into account the fact that this is AI vs AI which makes things significantly less like real life and can lead to it becoming significantly more difficult. For example, Vettel would have had equal chance to overtake Ocon, Norris, and Kvyat regardless of AI difficultly because they are the same difficulty. This wasn’t easy difficulty, this was luck and some messed up pit stop strategies.

There's a few races in F1 2020 where qualifying in 11th and being able to start on the mediums is so much better than being in the top 10 on the softs. You'd have still been on for a good finish I think but the top 7 not putting under the safety car handed you the race
