Yeah I've only got a promising looking car coming after China Season 2. All season 1 I couldn't break away from the bottom 3 cars. Alpha Tauri were always a step ahead. A thing I'm noticing about skewing Acclaim gain is it starts making teammates very expensive very quickly. I signed Aitken mid season for $800k and by the end of the season he was $3m lol

@@hindae085 do you have increased settings like team acclaim rate and stuff, because I managed to pass AlphaTauri in season 1 around Belgium I think it was. Had a few big upgrades over the summer break. Now I’m in Singapore but still quite far behind the teams ahead of me. Had a couple of lucky races with the weather and strategy which got me points..highest was 5th in Russia last race. Might tweak a few of the settings from next season on-wards if I improve to quickly

@@Tomassi_1997 Yeah I kinda foolishly had everything increased for AI and decreased for me. It makes crap teammates unaffordable after a few races and other teams can just outdevelop you hands down. Ive since adjusted the settings to mostly just team acclaim skew and regular resources for AI and decreased for me. Its hard to strike a balance. For a little bit i stuck resources on regular for me and before Canada I suddenly had the third best car.

There should be the feature that the AI can get DriveThrough penalties for Jumpstarting or 5 second penalties for Speeding in Pitlane

I think the drivethrough penalties are there but the AI don’t always make an infraction to get that penalty because AI. Context: F1 2016, British GP quick race, 8 AI cars got a drive-through penalty for speeding under the safety car. Weirdest shit I’ve seen in my life

@@DominikMaslyk i played F1 2016 too. Had a lot of funny bugs. I once had a 25% Race there in Hungary with just 4 cars Finishing because 4 Crashed and the Rest got disqualified for Stopping on track because they couldnt drive around the crashed cars even when they were ghosted

I feel so much like shit when playing my own career mode, that watching yours is cheering me up and motivating me to keep improving. I also love the daily (not so daily lol) rendez-vous that is your career mode series when I get to my bed at the end of a long day. Please keep this up Ben!

I've come a long way on this channel. My first ever view of a career mode video within 30 minutes of its release. I've finally caught up after over 100 F1 2020 Career Mode videos, and the 13 of this years edition. It's taken me more than 6 months, but I'm here. I'd like to thank myself for sacrificing my own playing time to watch someone else play the exact same game just a tad better than I can.

I haven't bought F1 2021 yet, but seeing how deadly the curbs seems to be for everyone, I'm worried about my favorite track now. Canada. I rely heavily on kinda jumping the curbs in some sections to carry the speed.

They remodeled Canada, the kerbs are smooth and you can ride all of them like it was flat ground. Canada is one of the most enjoyable track on this game for its smoothness

@@csanadkardos9956 cool. That sounds good. I still have issues on F1 2020 with the last chicane because I cut it so tight that the inside curbs will sometimes buck me off into the wall of champions. Maybe if it's flatter I'll be even better around there

@@tylercady3985 don't worry about Canada at all. The last chicane is fine, if you set the corner cutting on regular. You just have to practice and see what kind of approach works best for you, but the kerbs are not one of the problems. Canada is one of my favorite tracks to drive in F1 2021 so far.

I think your issue is that you just don’t defend until you really need to, which means you get out into a position where you need to defend to get point way quicker, then you’ve got too long to have to defend and will end up losing the position. Great videos anyway!

For next year's game I think you should have to pay the extra engine components you use. You should have to pay some amount to to your engine supplier to build you a new engine. Or cost you development time for parts you can make in house.
