@@danburt9576 Nah they will be in some kinda Ultimate Team clone a bit like how you can't sign Pele or Zidane for your club in fifa you must get them in Ultimate Team, but this time you must get classic cars in Ultimate Team (and like all of the cars are in the same category which means if you want to go into esport or something like that you must give them your money and hope you spin an RB6, F2004 or a W11 or you'll be stuck with a 72D or M32 XD). Yeah and they'll probably just switch the entire game to F1 Ultimate Team where you have to -hire- spin on a wheel team personnel and engine upgrades.

Definitely happy with these changes. 6 practice programmes were way too many and it felt like a chore, maybe 3 is more natural and not as chore-ish. UI definitely needed an overhaul and I was going to go nuts if they reused the R&D tree for another year, we’ve had it since 2016. Graphics look even sweeter too. Can’t wait!

Why make it green when there's no other green parts on the Ferrari, they could change it to white which would fit in place a lot better than green. That's what people wish they would do. But instead codemasters have fully removed it so it can't be much to do with advertising. And there's other Mission Winnow logos on the car.

IMO, the new R&D tree is more linear and clinical, almost like they've removed your freedom to choose what part of the car requires upgrading, i.e. in F1 2020, if you felt that the car was too oversteery, you could invest in rear downforce, and tbh, it is nice to see a fully completed R&D tree

I played F1 2020 and one thing I did like are the classic F1 cars. However, I only ever used them in time attack runs. I still liked them and those were cars I remembered from when I watched F1 racing as a kid. Especially those engine sounds. But then again, I'm an older guy. It's a letdown in a way that F1 2021 doesn't have the old cars. But a cinematic career mode is pretty cool. I've been playing the career mode where I'm the owner and driver and that's what I've been playing in F1. It's also my first F1 game in years.

The new practice is a freaking gamechanger.. I loved to go through myteam, but I can't do full races+training all the time and I like to drive different races. Sometimes I do 5 race career mode and I still only drive like 5 a week, so 1 season is already ~ a month because training and qualifying if I want those ressource points take quiet some time, since I have to do lots more than 5 laps for that.

I would love if F1 added a dynamic difficulty. I want it to do what I do, calculating my Qualifying time vs the competition in MyTeam and wanting to be as close as possible to where my car SHOULD be. If at the beginning you're the 3rd worse team, you should be in what, 16th and 17th place on the Grid? So if I start the game at launch and am 5 secs ahead at the front, crank up the difficulty for me by X amount and adjust every qualy thereafter. It would save me SO much time.
