Antonelli is a really exciting talent, main reason people are skeptical of lawson is because look at red bulls last 2 junior promotes, they went horribly because the VCARB and Red Bull handle vastly differently, but i see where you’re coming from

With Franco Colapinto at Alpine as a reserve and test driver, if Jack Doohan doesn't perform, Franco could take over. And Yuki Tsunoda was confirmed to be a Red Bull Racing reserve driver aside from his seat at Racing Bulls. But man, Yuki got screwed over. He should have had the seat and Liam Lawson should have been at RB.

Why mercedes so high lol. And considering Haas better than AM is quite a stretch, alonso is still alonso. For me is ferrari, mclaren, red bull, williams, aston,sauber , mercedes, haas, alpine, racing bulls. Antonelli is literally a rookie, and he wasnt even the champion. Both hadjar and bortoleto outscored him. Too much hype with a guy that should crash 4 or 5 cars this season.

@soundscape26 he is a rookie, he needs to explore the limits. Verstappen crashed a lot in his first seasons. Leclerc crashes every now and then today. For f. sake, he crashed in his first session with mercedes, if he is somehow near the limit, he will bin 4 or 5 cars. Otherwise he will be slow.

He's won nothing of note at junior level, failed to beat Yuki who's deemed not good enough and was rejected multiple times by RB in favour of gambles like De Vries and Riccardo. What do you rate the guy deemed worse than De Vries and the guy seen as not good enough by the team itself? Meanwhile Kimi dominated junior categories and has the full support of Merc with the expectation he could be the next max. While Max is better than George, Kimi is in another league to Lawson. In all honesty I would be shocked if Lawson matched Sergio and if RB have their way he won't last half as long as the mexican. Kimi even if he doesn't reach the hype is worthy of a shot in F1, Lawson is incredibly lucky that he's even gotten close let alone and actual seat.

I think Hamilton and Piastri are actually pretty equally matched now that Hamilton has left Mercedes. And I think Charles is still a lot better than Lando. So for me, Ferrari is ahead by a bit but the main question is how Hamilton acclimates to the sf-25

I would rate Ferrari 3rd behind red bull and McLaren, Charles and Max are quite equal tbf while towards the end of 2024 Liam was a pain for poorer in an inferior car soo as the season progresses lewis will decline due to age and Liam will progress. I say that as a tifosi. Ferrari royally screwed up with signing Hamilton. Carlos or even Bearman were much better options. Lewis only joined Ferrari for his 8th and when its clear to him that he cannot match Leclerc (he won't be near Leclerc's quali and rp) he would return to 2024 lewis who got schooled by osama bin Russel.

Charles and Carlos was probably the best driver pairing since Prost and Senna, it might seem idiotic at first but remember that both Charles and Carlos pushed each other. I think some of the skill they both gained they should thank each other for it. they were also relatively calm and did not have a lot of friction and both were very very competent drivers.

Pretty crazy to me, since the standout details I've seen from him over two seasons in F2 have been that he pushes too hard, makes loads of mistakes under wheel to wheel conditions, but can win races if he's on pole... trouble being that his method of being on pole in F2 has been to qualify in 10th and win the sprint. I don't think he'll necessarily do poorly, but I don't expect anything special... maybe a better Kush Maini.

I'm not a Red Bull fan, but placing Mercedes above them is hilarious. Max is multi-champion and Lawson has some experience. Meanwhile Russell is a solid driver, yes, but so far not a champion, plus is paired with a driver with zero experience in GP's. My rankings for driver LINE UPs 1st is Ferrari for obvious reasons. 2nd and 3rd are close between McLaren and red bull 4th Williams 5th Mercedes (I think 🐜 will be better than daddy’s money. Max easily beats Russell and Lawson should be rated above Antonelli as well. Hamilton's form has also been very inconsistent and there is no guarantee he can come to terms with a Ferrari engine and the Ferrari team after spending his entire career with the Merc engine. I'd also not say Leclerc is the fastest over a lap, he just had a car that was only good at that. Mclaren should probably be rated #1 with RBR close behind, followed by Ferrari and Mercedes.
