As a beginner, I’m still learning to resist the urge to spam the ERS button. Really needed this tutorial, thanks 🙏

@@BrendonLeigh I’m personally struggling with consistency, but I guess that’s a matter of practicing a lot, but also something more specific: traction at corner exit. I try to be on the limit, and sometimes I overdo it and spin. Not sure if it’s a good topic for a tutorial but I imagine a lot of beginners struggling to find the sweet spot

why do you have wheel that is so strong that it can brake your wrists when you are never going to use that much force anyway ?

Honestly this is what I needed since I would find myself relying on the ers too much since ai or players are pulling away but thanks for this tips man you're awesome 👍

Brendon I found a video of yours from F1 22 regarding rear anti roll bars and I'm massively grateful for the simple singular topic videos you put out. So I recently resumed a Williams career after not playing the game for about 4 months and I was struggling with rear sliding, I'm pretty good at making perfect setups but when I raced at Baku I just couldn't crack why I was spinning. Turns out it was because my old pre patch setups (when they changed the handling slightly) where somewhat backwards lol. Literally 6 clicks higher rear ARB and I was back to usual

I'm not a beginner to the game at all but I've had a lot of issues managing ERS since the overtake button was introduced. The examples of using it unnecessarily is what I've done at times. i hope this tutorial can help out :) thanks for it

Awesome video, I find myself SAVING to much ERS and not using it at all. I got in the habit of practicing without using any ERS to work on overall pace where it became a bad habit to not use ERS at all but when I do I use to much lol

I tend to judge whether or not to use battery in attack by if I'm staying with or gaining on the car in front without it. If not, I'll save it for defending against cars behind.

imagine my shock at 11:25 :D:D:D great video! that performance in the race puts your skill into perspective, that was sick! what I also take away from this is that I should probably stop pressing the button before I am fully on the throttle out of a corner :'D I just figured that's why I fear the wet so much probably xD I think the interaction with downhill or uphill straights and ERS is also something very interesting to play around with, I liked how you demonstrated that you can save up the battery to use it after the uphill part to defend your position! your videos always bring so much value to the table, it's amazing!

Thank you for your compliments!! The ers a tricky one that’s for sure, naturally the brain wants to use it all The time but definitely it’s better to be patient 👌

This has been asked before with no reply. What button is it on the wheel that activates it? I have a t150 thrusmaster. Not sure why this is never mentioned in all the videos on this subject. Thank you for taking time to make videos. Lots of great information.

Cheers for the guide! I have some questions though if you don't mind :) 1. Your battery usage seems to focus solely on using it well in overtaking opportunities and to defend from overtakes. But suppose I am 10 seconds behind the car I want to catch in a longer race - is it viable or sensible to use the battery from time to time to close the gap quicker, or should I rely only on my raw pace at that stage? 2. Are there any other styles/methods of using the battery, or is every pro driver using it in more or less the same way? Really appreciate what you're doing for the community mate :)

Love your videos! They've helped me with many little areas. I was using ERS mainly when DRS is open to push top speed...but still losing out too often. Better to use prior to DRS opening I guess?
