Take into consideration the fear factor, real pilots do not pilot as if the walls and barriers do not actually exist There are actual consequences to crashing, for themselves, the car, the finances of the team, etc. They do not pilot like someone would in the safety of their house and behind a screen 😂 Also, they don't have infinite laps to train, the track is available for them only a few hours one week per year. Ofc there is the simulator, but still. They're using it mostly to set up the car in advance if I'm not mistaken. I don't think they would manage to win 4 seconds though, but what I mean is that virtual time records on Monaco have to be disconnected to the actual real timed laps in F1, those two things are nothing alike.

@betelgeuse227 I'm not contesting that the handling isn't easier, it definitely is But imo it doesn't feel too unrealistic, pushing like a mad lad results in high tyre wear and punishes you in the end (in races ofc, not in time trials) And I kinda enjoy the way I battle with my car when I go over the limit, more than in previous iterations But ye, it allows stuff like being faster than actual f1 drivers

You can’t feel g-force, there is no fuel against the clock and the tire temperature is blocked at the optimal one (100 *C)

You can obviously push the car harder in any game, no matter how realistic, than in real life. Your life isn't at risk in a game, so you can ultimately make decisions you would attempt irl. I've personally beat Hamilton's record from 2021, and that doesn't make me a professional F1 racer 😭.

You drive well but the Lap would not be Valid because you left the limit of the Curves 3 times (Curve 1,10 and 16).

The handling is more realistic so it's easy for real race car drivers to use. Just look at the Lando and Leclerc video.
